Kaladi Brothers Coffee — Restaurant in Alaska

Stopped in the Kaladi at New Sagaya at 6pm on a Saturday to grab a cup of coffee to go. The fella at the counter felt his texting conversation was of greater importance than addressing the customers. A younger gentlemen came over and addressed us.

Perhaps the first fella’s text conversation was emergent....I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. If so, I would be better customer service to step away from your work area.

A customer who is apparently a regular came in right behind me, I waited about five minutes while both employees behind the counter chatted with that customer and made his coffee before I left. Nobody acknowledged me or took my order, one employee was making coffee and the other one was just leaning and chatting. I was on my lunch break and wanted to make sure I had time to go...

My pastry was stale and the coffee was decent. As far as coffee shops go, there wasn't anything special about it. Even the baristas seemed indifferent to my presence and it wasn't even that busy. The overall atmosphere was positive and it's more quieter and casual it seems than the other ones...
