UPDATE 12/18/24:
I was contacted by Seth from the Alaska Club about the incident and what transpired. Long story short they are taking action to make aure events like this do not transpire in the future and emphasized the importance of the safety that they will be pushing for going forward so that all of our kids will have a fun and safe environment to enjoy. I was very pleased that he reached out and feel rather confident in giving the park another chance.
There are not very many places for our kids to go and hangout with their friends during the winters anymore like there was when I was a kid and I hope to see great things come from the conversations I had today. Overall, I am very pleased with the response and actions put forth and will definitely grant another opportunity for continued business. Tonight 12/14/24 my daughters were at the trampoline park and trying to have fun with their neighbors and a few friends for the Neon night that starts @ 8pm and goes till 10pm at night. As the night progressed someone started a fight with one of the kids there and all hell broke loose. These kids mistook one of my daughters for the girl they were actually fighting with and a mob of about 50 kids surrounded my daughters and started hitting them. My oldest braved this mob to get her younger sister and our neighbor out of there. To which several kids pulled her hair and were punching her in the ribs. My daughter told them to leave them alone and that they didn’t do anything.
They walked over to my neighbor who had taken them tonight the park with his kids. Shortly after the mob surrounded his kids and my kids. He stood up and said this is over and done with. All the kids quickly dispersed and all seemed fine. He said that we should probably just leave but there was 10 minutes left of this “neon night” so he said ok we can stay. Our kids did get more than 20 feet away before the mob surrounded them again and started trying to cause another fight. Several of these unruly kids were taking videos and passing them around social media saying all kinds of slanderous things that weren’t true about my daughters.
When these fights broke out, the staff was more interested in flirting and talking to each other than paying attention to the chaos that was occurring. This business is an absolute joke and has ZERO safety for your children. Many people just drop their kids off and leave. These unruly hoodlums have zero accountability and were starting fights and swinging on girls who weren’t even involved. I was not aware that a place that was supposed to be fun has turned into nothing more than a mad max thunderdome type of environment. If you know what’s good for your kids you will definitely take your money elsewhere. This establishment is not running a safe environment and what is shaping up to be more of...
Read moreThe worst experience ever. Do not even bother taking your family here, you will regret it. Aside from the astronomical prices, for only ONE hour, the service is the most unprofessional I've ever come across. Upon arrival we ended up paying 110$ for four of us, it was my nephew's birthday though so it seemed like something I could look past. The staff is inconsistently policing your family the entire time making your 'family fun' time nonexistent. The staff are all 16 year olds who are incapable of doing much past either a.) Flirting with boyfriends and catching up with friends or b.) Directly targeting your family and harassing them unfairly. We were told that two people could not be on a trampoline together and we're kicked off (the two people were 40 lbs, and 100lbs) so we obliged, not much later a group of 6 grown men weighing anywhere from 150-175lbs each jumped on a single trampoline with the same ref right there and said NOTHING. She shifted to different parts of the park that coincidently mimicked our shifting as well, we were approached by her probably 6-10 times in our time there one of which included her approaching an 8 year old that was right next to us, clearly we are the adults watching the child as our entire group was always in one area and not scattered, she made the child feel extremely uncomfortable and he ended up very upset. She did not make an attempt to speak to us at all and we were right there 10inches from him, I don't care what the issue is you always approach the adult especially if the issue is as simple as his wristband color. If these people are supposed to be policing for safety which I can tell you they are not due to the fact that there are exposed Springs which is the direct result of lazy employees and could easily seriously injure a child, as well as the foam blocks not being maintained whatsoever our socks and clothes were covered in foam debris and every member of our group had to stop jumping because of foam in their eyes, one of which is a child who had panicked parents around trying to relieve him of a possible injury. When I spoke to the girl at the front counter she was unhelpful as can be, nodded her head as I explained and showed her my picture of exposed Springs and told me she would take care of it, as she attempted to do that she pulled the wrong girl to the back room to correct her. Clearly she wasn't paying attention to my very detailed complaint. I will be calling to speak with a legitimate manager tomorrow, if there even is one.. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE, Save some money and stress and go check out literally any...
Read moreTerrible, terrible, terrible. My three year old daughter and I were told that she couldn't jump in the bigger kid section because of double jumping danger. My daughter has been on trampolines since before she could walk. The toddler section is BORING. My daughter thinks so as well as the other kids that we encountered during my most recent visit. If it is truly for "toddlers" why is there a rock wall? Why is there a balance beam across an over-filled foam block pit? Toddlers don't have the motor skills to successfully navigate either. As evidence both look brand new, unused. It would be okay if the toddlers siblings or parents could jump/climb with them in the toddler section, but that's not allowed. The Toddler section needs a be completely overhauled for an actual toddler to play in. Many other parents i encountered had the same argument with roaming floor security/staff. When I mentioned to the security staff person that if they want toddlers to play in the appropriate area they should consider making it more toddler friendly. He begin to argue with me. The rest of my trip he kept an constant eye on me and was never more than 10 feet away from me as he followed my daughter and I around the park. Definitely not a enjoyable time for my daughter. I spent $64 for three kids for 2 hours. A 3 year old, 10 year old, and a 15 year old. My three year old was bored and wanted to go after 30 minutes. My two older kids were bored after an hour, so we left. The Get Air park is in need of repair everywhere. The carpet is frayed everywhere you look. The trampolines have rips and material sticking out from the tattered and worn out mats that are used to cover the springs. The foam blocks are crumbling, leaving debris everywhere. The locker area is filthy with old socks and trash laying everywhere. The whole place is dusty and dirty, I would rather drive from my south Anchorage home to Shockwave trampoline park in North east Anchorage, than ever go to Get Air again. I can understand that disrepair is going to happen. I refuse to accept how the staff treated us or how the area that we were forced to play in is lacking and not appropriate for...
