Minars Market — Local services in Albany

I inquired a few weeks ago about the meat bundles they advertise. I was told they were available, and could process in 3 weeks. I placed an order, and was told it would be ready this week. I even offered to pay ahead, and they said it would not be necessary, they trusted me. I called today to arrange pickup, I was told they were not honoring any orders. No one called to notify me. When I asked why pre orders were not made a priority, I was advised by a very rude employee that the only priority he had was the guy with money in front of him. I drove halfway across the county to give my money to a small local business, as we should during the Covid 19 pandemic, only to be turned down. Went in today from about 30 minutes away because they had meat bundles advertised in an advertisement that just came out Sunday (Even looked online to make sure and their website showed they had these bundles). Walked in and asked about getting one of these bundles and was told very matter of fact (as if I should have somehow known) that they aren’t honoring them since the price of meat went up. I get the price went up but they need to change their website to reflect this and also print up something to hang in the store. This is a very sad way to run a business. I definitely won’t be back. It seems like they're out of meats alot, and they don't sell some of the same brands that they used to since the new management took over. I assume it's because they're no longer an IGA. (They took the IGA sign down, and you don't see IGA brands anymore.) I'm happy that the staff that was there before the change of owners is still there. They're always friendly and have a good attitude, I go there quite often to pick up a few things between grocery trips. Prices are a little higher than the dollar stores nearby, but what you save in gas mileage going 20-30 miles to Walmart makes...
