The owner, Christina is incredible! She is so patient, helpful, and truly a pleasure to work with. I came in thinking I knew exactly what I wanted but I stayed open minded and Christina helped me into various dresses to figure out “my type”. The dress I ended up falling in love with was more princess-y than I expected, but it was everything I didn’t know I needed! I instantly had tears and could see myself marrying my fiancé, it was a feeling I did not get with any of the other dresses (and trust me I tried lol). Christina also walked me through the alteration options and even got a few tailors on the phone during our appointment to get quotes, which was helpful since she knew I was on a tight budget. What truly stood out to me was how Christina was able to fit me in for an appointment the very next day I called. I happened to be in Albuquerque visiting friends (I live in Los Alamos), and she made time for me on such short notice, which was incredibly thoughtful, especially since my wedding is only 2.5 months away. I’ll admit, I wasn’t planning on buying a dress at that time because I had found one on Etsy that I could custom order, but something kept pulling me to just try on dresses in person. The idea of waiting months for the Etsy dress, unsure of the fit, coloring, or delivery timing, just felt like too much added stress. After leaving Christina’s shop, I went to a few other bridal stores and tried on at least a dozen more dresses, hoping to find something that could top the one from Boujee on a Budget Bridal. But no matter how many dresses I tried on, I couldn’t stop thinking about that one dress and the wonderful experience I had with Christina. Plus, I loved the idea of supporting a small business rather than a chain store you can find anywhere. After taking some time to think it over, I knew in my heart that I had found my dress, or rather, my dress had found me. I came back less than a week later to purchase it, and I’m beyond thrilled with my decision! The vibe of the shop was romantic and cute, but also fun, it made my entire experience feel special. My mother-in-law and I celebrated with a bubbly toast and a few pictures after I said yes to the dress, and it was a memory I’ll cherish forever. I had gone to seven bridal appointments before I came here - this was my last effort and I was so close to buying a dress that I didn't love because I was running out of time. I am SO glad I came here and met Claudia and Christina - they were so invested in getting me the dress of my dreams. Claudia even said she would tell her brides to not buy a dress if they didn't truly love it, which really stuck with me that I shouldn't be settling. Claudia also really was so in-tune to everything I wanted - she would listen to what I had to say for every dress and then was able to adjust and have me try on other dresses that I wouldn't have known to pick out myself. They had so many options and I was so impressed by the quality of the dresses - I was worried I would be sacrificing quality for affordability but that was not true. Christina also would pop in and out of my appointments and made me feel so welcome. I ended up deciding to go with a custom dress since there were so many parts of different dresses I loved and they have worked with me every step of the way to make my dream dress!

I also love the warmth and transparency here - for various reasons likely out of their control, other bridal shops in town don't let you take photos which I understood was store policy but made it really difficult to think about the dresses, especially since a lot of them would photograph differently than they looked in-person. Photos were encouraged here, the environment was supportive and so lovely, and they let you walk through and pick out dresses yourself which is something I hadn't seen elsewhere. I am so glad I came here before buying a much more expensive dress that I didn't really love. I absolutely can't recommend it enough - they have an incredible selection with SO many dresses and their ability and flexibility to work with you to find what you're looking for is incredible...

Finding the words to describe my experience is not an easy task. I do not feel like any words give justice but I am going to try my best. I want to start by saying we drove from Tulsa, OK to ABQ and it was worth every mile. I had convinced myself that I would not find a dress that makes me happy or truly feel beautiful. That the dresses I truly like would not look good on me, especially being plus size. From the moment I walked up to the door, there was a personalized sign, to entering, the door and meeting Christina and Claudia, I was at the right place. Christina knows what she is doing and you can just feel her passionate through the entire process. I put on so many dresses that were amazing. Some that I put on and loved but was doubting because of the style and the parts of myself I am so hard on. She chose a dress towards the end because she has paid attention to me. She knew I loved the form fitting dress but was choosing Aline out of my lack of self confidence. When I put on that dress, I felt more beautiful, sexy, gorgeous, WORTHY, than I have ever felt in my life. So can you just imagine how I will feel on my wedding day? I didn't even think to myself "this would like better if I lost weight". In fact, I think it made me see myself how my fiance always sees me. My best friend, mother, and future MIL, had the best time. In fact, I opted to drive back to ABQ to pick the dress up when it is ready instead of having it shipped.
