If you are a hard work professional, run now. Look elsewhere to live. I moved here from AZ after the passing of my spouse. I was not aware of the area, due to the fact it was a brand new apartment, I thought I was doing the right thing. Let me also add, that initially I was not approved due to something that was on my credit that I was not able to get off. Management did go an extra mile for, did a little research, after doing so I was able to get approved to move in. I really appreciated that and thought that I was dealing with professionals such as myself. Boy was i wrong. It had been a nightmare from day one..

I lived on the 3rd floor, upon my moving in before all other buildings were rented out, I advised management of the noise coming from my neighbors directly above me. I figured I’d say something right away before all the buildings get rented out. I was floored at the reply or lack there of in some cases from management. My daughter and I had many sleepless nights due to the excessive noise coming from above. We were not able to get quality sleep, it was so bad to were often times I had to get a room for the night/nights, to be able to get quality sleep, and function at work, I am a front line worker, we all know that in the mist of the pandemic it was more challenging than it has ever been, working in health care. Management was aware of this and did absolutely nothing. One day I was beyond frustrated at all the noise of my upstairs neighbors, and sending emails after emails with nothing being done, I got a broom stick to hit the ceiling, in a manner to advise them of the noise, only then did Samantha (manager)send me an email stating that she’s had several complaints about me. Again, I’m completely floored at the management skills at this property. After months of being completely sleep deprived, and using up my savings on getting rooms so i can sleep, I decided that it would be best for me to pay the fee to break my lease and move. Which was not cheap might I add, but sometimes you can’t put a price on your peace of mind. I did just that, miraculously they had a unit available for me, after turning in my 30 day notice. However after my experience with some of the residents and management at the Nuevo Atrisco Apartments you couldn’t pay me to live there.

I do believe they have units where they help pay for your rent, if that is the case and you have nowhere else to go I would definitely do it as a last resort. However if you are a working professional, please save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. ( my daughter also found a crack pipe in our hallway)

We pay fees for the gym which we were not able to use due to Covid, however no money was reduced off my rent. I was also advised that due to the fact that there’s security cameras we do not have a security guard on premises. However I’ve had packages stolen right from my doorstep, my neighbor had his bike stolen, I can’t explain to you why the cameras were not able to help identify the thief. If you are thinking about moving in there and safety is a concern of yours, perhaps that is something you might wanna think about inquiring about.

• ALSO LET ME CAUTION YOU! IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PARKING PERMIT IN YOUR VEHICLE, YOUR CAR WILL BE BOOTED. THEY WORK WITH A THIRD PARTY WHO DRIVES AROUND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT BOOTING VEHICLES. I VERY INCONVENIENTLY & WRONGLY HAD MY VEHICLE BOOTED, ONLY TO BE TOLD “WE ARE SORRY ABOUT THE INCONVENIENCE “ IM ALL FOR RULES, BUT I DEFINITELY FEEL LIKE THIS IS A SCAM, DUE TO THE FACT THE ONLY PLACE THEY HAVE A CAUTION SIGN ADVISING OF THE PARKING/ BOOT POLICY IS ON THE GATE OF THE TRASH BIN. I FEEL LIKE THE PROPER THING TO DO, WOULD BE TO PLACE IT IN THE ELEVATORS, OR ON THEIR BULLETIN BOARD WHERE ALL CAN SEE, LIKE THEY PLACE ALL OTHER NOTICES*

This was such a horrible experience as a single widowed mother. I just pray no one ever has to have this experience. My goal in writing such a long detailed review is that perhaps I can save someone from having this horrible experience with the Nuevo...

The lady who commented before me is going through the same thing I am going through. Tammie the office manager is petty and is always gossiping. She does not like me because I have had issues here with other tenants and they make me out to be a bad person and I have gotten written up for it and I am getting close to getting kicked out because this place can write you up for any little thing. Some issues that I have had here are people side swiping my car and hitting my car with their doors and they have no car insurance and you can't get their info because it's "confidential" and neighbors being disrespectful. Even though I stick up for myself and try to tell my side of the story I am "harassing people" like if I am supposed to just deal with people damaging my property and trying to get me in trouble because I don't talk to them. She doesn't care she will tell me what I want to hear. If anyone puts a good review about her they are the ones who gossip and are her littles pets. I am not liked because I mind my own business and don't like to talk to anyone and she's told me it's a community and that everyone talks well she wasn't lying about that there is nothing but gossip, slander and lies. The only good thing about this place is the apartment. My kids do not like it here they don't get to play outside or go to the rooftop because they are nit picked for everything little thing they do. There are drug addicts and homeless people walking around here from the bus station and are being let in the building. Cars are getting damaged, stolen, and broken into and they don't do anything about it. People are stealing packages even though there are cameras and people trying to get into other people's apartments. Security does a horrible job of watching parking and the place. This place is a joke and you can't call corporate because they will ignore you and hang up on you they don't like to address issues and resolve them the consider it "high school drama". I'm sure they will comment trying to lie and make up excuses. I don't care if anyone believes me you can come live here and find out for...

There is no security and your vehicles and property are always stolen or damaged and management doesn't do anything to correct this. This place is a money pit.....WOW this place is the worst place to live management enters your home without permission and without 24 hour notice. Also you have so much foot traffic and people stealing and vandalizing property. Management does nothing except say sorry. And at the end of the day instead of fixing the problems they harass good tenants about thing like your vehicle is is damaging our plants lol are you serious. So if you like gun shots and vandalism this is the place for you. And as a bonus management will harass you constantly and invade your privacy. All the other 5 star reviews are management lol. Also Ms Diane will go threw your closet while your at work. We'll it's been 3 months and we're still waiting for our deposit we got evicted for a contract violation which was impossible to correct because management does not want to work with the tenants so we vacated and took very good care of the unit we left it ready for move in and still have not received deposit. They expect us to follow rules and contract but they do not do the same this is one of the first times we've had to rent I got to say this was the worst experience I've had dealing...
