Whale of A Wash — Local services in Albuquerque

My wife always uses this car wash. Today on a very busy Saturday when probably zillions of people wash their car, I stopped by to give it a try.. bad idea the car on front of me pulled into the Automatic Wash Bay, I pulled up and paid my fee.. couple of cycles later when his nice Porsche was covered vsuds the machine locked up, of course with the bars in front of his car. He waited for a while.. never restarted. We all had to back out. Of course on one of the busiest days.. no attendant was anywhere. UPDATE: The manager Martin, called me back and asked if he could meet me back at the car wash.. very professional guy.. he offered me a refund and a future free...

I use the touch less wash. My car is never super dirty so the touch less wash is strong enough to clean my car well.

I heard another customer complain that it's didn't get all the bugs off so that might be an issue if you have want it to clean off a lot of bugs

The payment system works well, and the wash is good .

I'm rounding the experience up to a 5. I would technically give it a 4.5/5 if I could because the dryer isn't very good like most other car washes. But all on all...

I only used the do-it-yourself wash here. $2.00 for a few minutes and accepts credit cards (although I used quarters. I would have gave this place 5 stars but the brush heads need to be replaced and the brush does not dispense an adequate amount of soap. Also, the soap is not very foamy. The power sprayer was great.

Update: 9/16 - The brushes are now dispensing adequate soap; however, the brush heads still need to be replaced. The bristles need to be stiffer on the new...
