Food Lion — Local services in Alcoa

This food Lion one of the few remaining here in the Knoxville area. Was quite clean well organized and brightly lit floors shiny as ice. I found everything I needed with ease and comfort with no flip-flopping back and forth from Isle to aisle as I do in Krogers and other places of gigantry. I would give this store a good five six just because of its location and the friendliness of the staff was not quite there however I was a stranger myself. This beautiful little sore is located in the Aloca Maryville area on Old Knoxville highway next to a McDonald's which I have rated that and it's a lot to be desired. The McDonald's that is. Good Lion is a great store! Reasonable prices friendly people. There is a concern about parking on the side of the building, it's treacherous when it's busy! People park next to the building and you can't get out of a parking space because people are parked too close! You can't get out of your space because there are people park next to the building when you pull out and we are so squeezed in that you can't turn your wheel right or left to navigate backing up! I wish the person who owned the property would change that! Otherwise, food Lion is a wonderful store! It was 10:33pm & we were 7 minutes away from Food Lion & our doggy Sadie was outta dog food... she will only eat Kibbles & Bits mini bites & they don't sale them just anywhere... but Food Lion had just what we needed and actually stay open until 11pm like they're supposed to. No short cuts there. They did their hours right... we are also candy addicts & they have a HUGE variety of candy! ANYTHING WE COULD IMAGINE... THEY HAD IT STOCKED!
