Right off the bat the customer service when we ordered was very awkward. We came here with my grandparents and mom; my fiance and I ordered 2nd out of 3 orders & received ours last. When I say last, I mean we received our food over 20 MINUTES after everyone else at the table (and we had to go back to the counter to check the status at one point to be told "they're in progress"). Literally everyone else at the table was halfway or almost done with their food. Then, both mine and my fiance's burritos were made incorrectly. I actually have specific dietary needs for health reasons, so I couldn't even eat mine. After going back to the counter AGAIN to ask for the burrito to be made, the waitress came back to ask if we had some to-go order that was not ours; she also asked the table beside us, so they clearly had no idea who this order belonged to. After we told her the to-go order was not ours, she asked again what came in my burrito that they were supposed to be remaking, and at that point I just asked for a refund. Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy their food, for whatever that's worth, but I won't be coming back again since they apparently...

This place is really close to my house, and I can't believe I waited so long to try it. I ordered a shrimp avocado BLT taco, a burrito with chicken and pineapple, and a chicken quesadilla. It was the best taco that I ever have had. I haven't eaten tons of tacos like some of you, but this one was unbelievable to me. Perfect. The burrito was huge and had great ingredients. I think I would choose a different kind next time, but that is just a personal choice thing. The quesadilla was excellent with really good chicken pieces and tasty cheese. It was different than any quesadilla I have had before in the size of the chicken and the texture, but it was excellent. We actually saved half the quesadilla and burrito and ate them the next day, and they were still fantastic. Usually this kind of food doesn't reheat well. I ordered, waited and took my food home. The food was cooked quickly and freshly as I waited. I was impressed with the service. The price is a little high at first glance, but with the quality of ingredients and the taste it is fair in today's market, and actually a good deal. I recommend trying this place. Don't let its location...

This is the best Mexican food in the area without a doubt. Now that you know you don’t need to look anywhere else for Mexican food, let me tell you a little more. You’ll be greeted by Cathya, Yun or perhaps one of their other fine ladies who will take your order and can explain the menu options in more detail. Alex, the cook, not only makes you food taste amazing but he also ensures you get that amazing taste consistently every time you visit, with large potion sizes as well. You don’t learn the names of restaurant staff if they didn’t make a lasting impression or if you don’t plan to return. The fact that i know all of their names and they know mine should speak numbers alone. Many people hear that this restaurant is in the same parking lot as a gas station and immediately discard it as an option. Well I’m hear to tell you that on the inside, there is nothing that resembles the experience of a gas station. The restaurant is very clean, has a nice style of its own and is not accessible by the gas station convenient store. If your in town for just the day or your a local, do yourself a favor and try this food. You won’t be...

This was such an amazing experience. The atomosphere was so fun and friendly and we had the opportunity to meet the manager. He talked about how passionate he is about taking care of the community and feeding people. He said 95% of what they make is in house and that they dont pump their meets full or hormones and toxins. Gotta go try it if you live in Maryville or alcoa! 🦊🌮🧔 #knoxfoxfinds #newfood #smallbusiness #chapulines

It took me a while to get someone to go with me to try Chapuline's because it's attached to the Exxon gas station but I finally convinced a friend to join me - and it was a very pleasant and delicious surprise. The service was very friendly and they took the time to help us understand their menu. The prices are very reasonable (under $4 per taco) and the variety is wonderful from chicken, steak, seafood and beyond. They offer 5 varieties of Mexican beers (but sorry, no margaritas.) My friend very much enjoyed the vegetarian burrito and it was a size to match Chipotle's. They have a nice salsa bar so you can sample different flavors - or dip your tongue in a spicy salsa sauce and watch your friend's eyes start to cry. It's not much in the way of "atmosphere" being a smaller venue tucked next to the gas station but they do the best they can. Spanish channel on the TV, Spanish music and some light decorations. But the real charm is the good food at fair prices. Definitely will return to try some different tacos and the occasional burrito.
