Heritage Nutrition — Restaurant in Alcoa

Just finished a delicious and refreshing smoothie called the Chocolate Elvis. It is chocolate, peanut butter, and banana. It was tasty AND guilt-free, and it was just what the doctor ordered as a quick meal replacement after I spent all morning walking about seven miles around South Knoxville's Park and trail system for exercise.

My only regret is that I am leaving town tomorrow AM as my vacation ends, and I didn't find out about this place sooner. Shelly/Shelley, the owner, is very friendly, and I enjoyed having a nice conversation with her and meeting her daughter. With the exception of some very iffy weather during my visit to Maryville/Alcoa I had a great time overall, so I plan to come back here soon for another vacation to hit sites I missed this time around. When I come back I will be coming here everyday! At $9.88 it was very reasonably-priced, too, considering you will spent a few dollars more than that for a less nutritious quick lunch at a place like Chipotle or Five Guys.
