My family can not thank the Houson National Cemetery enough for the outstanding ceremony they gave our father on July 16th, 2024.
We had absolutely no idea what to expect as our grief was so tremendous but the Houston National Cemetery and the U.S. Coast Guard gave our father a first-class ceremony.
The entire staff at the Houston National Cemetery are professional, knowledgeable, respectful, curtious, and extremely kind-hearted.
We just visited the niche where our father's urn and our mother's urn are resting in forever peace.
The niche is absolutely beautiful with exceptional craftmanship. It gives us peace in our hearts that they are together forever. It is a beautiful, peaceful, and wonderful place to spend quiet time with our parents.
The Houston National Cemetery is an extraordinary place. A place that truly represents the service, devotion, and ultimate sacrifice of our brave men and women who served our country.

Not only are several of my family members laid to rest here, there's thousands of other men and women of our armed forces who bravely fought for our freedom's that also share this as their final resting place. You can feel a heavy vibe when walking around the monuments and seeing rows upon rows of headstones perfectly lined up and knowing these were the bravest of Americans who put their country and countrymen first before all else to make it and the world a safer place.
I've always had the utmost respect for the men and women of our armed forces, but visiting here always further solidifies those feeling and gives me a greater sense of gratitude for those who have served, are serving, and will serve our country in the greatest military on earth. So the morning of my grandmothers service 9am in Dec, my whole family showed up. Mind you, she had 11 children so there were many of us.
