A new familiar Vietnamese restaurant located off Sam Houston toll road. This restaurant is a takeover and newly renovated and is the second location of another restaurant called Bahn Mi & Tea located on Hwy 6 North (only difference is the name but menu is the same).
Similar to the original location the menu is interesting and the tea choices is extensive (especially on milk tea). It's another Vietnamese restaurant where you order at the counter and they serve you.
I tried the Korean style beef Bahn mi and my mother created her own plate. The plate my mother created was good and the sauce that came with it (not traditional fish sauce) was favorable. She ordered fried onion to go with the noodles but we were surprise to see onion rings which was actually very good. The pork was cut up small and was tender.
My sandwich was not a disappointment. The bread was crispy and the filling was good. I love that the beef wasn't chewy and had a good flavor to it. I had it with the traditional Vietnamese coffee which was not too sweet (just a perfect balance of coffee and condensed milk). Portion size is reasonable and filling (price is good as well).
Overall it was a good experience and I will be back...

I came in on a rainy day. I saw a picture of Bo Kho on the wall and pointed to it, then paid for my order.
When the dish came out I was surprised bc they gave me half a bowl of the soup. I told the lady that the picture on their wall shows a full bowl but mine was literally at the half line of the bowl, maybe even less than half. I asked if she could make it like the picture and she refused by chuckling and saying no, sorry.
This sort of customer service is ridiculous and ruined the dining experience. As a business, the product must match the advertising. I was misled.
Before you think about coming here, please know that what you see isn’t necessarily what you get. Shady...
Read moreI made a quick pit stop here on my way to the airport. The restaurant was extremely clean, the owners were very friendly, and the food came out quickly. We tried a bit of everything–bahn mi, grilled pork plate, spring rolls, and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Everything was very fresh and well-made! The Vietnamese coffee was authentic; thick and potent, it provided a much needed boost of energy for me. Truly impressed with the quality of food here. I will definitely come back when I’m in the...
