Terrible. I dropped my law mower off to be fixed because I was told it would only take one week. I left instructions for them to call me after they figured out what the problem was, so I could decide if I wanted to fix it or trash it. After about three weeks it still wasn't fixed and I called in for about the third time. The guy that answered was rude and argumentative! Still no call after weeks so I called them. Turns out not only had they done the diagnostics but they had also done the repairs! Also, the teenager behind the counter told me that the work had been done for weeks! When I got there the teenager told me that they had called me but I must have missed their call! Hello people! Cell phones these days have call logs. All I had to do was check my phone to see that she was lying/wrong. Anyway, the only redeeming quality of this please is the manager that was working when I picked up my lawnmower. I always expect more from an Ace Hardware...knowledgeable, friendly service. I did not get that at this location. It started out on a bad foot when we traveled 30 miles to this store because their website had an abundance of what we needed. Not true. They had zero. When I inquired about it, the store manager was rude and did nothing to help or make suggestions. A young man did step up to try to help. He had no knowledge about paver sand, which is all we needed. But, he tried to be supportive and gave us the time of day. So, Kudos to him! But, the manager should find a new job. Would not recommend ordering parts from them or if you do, call to make sure whatever it is was actually ordered. I ordered a spring for a walk behind mower late Monday, they said it should be in by the end of the week, awesome. Come to find out by Saturday that it hadn't even been ordered because they didnt have a big enough order. If they had actually taken the time to call me a lot sooner to let me know, I would be more understanding.
