Kohl's — Local services in Alexandria

This Kohl's is small. I was expecting them to take up Herbert's, but no they took out other stores and made a new space for no reason. The men's clothing section was SORELY lacking in the business casual section. Past that they had tons of athletic clothes that you can go buy at Dunhams for the same price or less. The aisles in the home department are small and you can barely fit two people in the aisle. I guess they had lots of kids clothes, but in all honesty Target has a better clothing section. For a store that is dedicated to clothing it was disappointing. I hope they either A) try to expand B) update their clothes to target the demographic...

Poor selction for men and boys. The Sephora department is very overpowering with the stench of too much perfume being sprayed. My wife was disappointed in the selection of clothes for women and girls. I think this is the smallest Kohls store we have seen. The store displays are too close together! I saw an elderly lady struggling to get around because her walker did not fit between some of the clothing displays. Kohls management and store designers could have done a much better job designing the layout...

I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of clothing. I would prefer more choices in Plus Size, but they are off to a great start and it's a relief as local boutiques specialize in very small sizes. Very happy to have a local store we can actually shop in again and not have to order online. Friendly staff, organized, quick check out despite a long line.
