I have never participated in writing reviews but felt compelled to share my thoughts after my first visit. I was referred by my friend’s friend’s recommendation. I had suffered a sprain in my arm and was in bad pain so I decided to give this doctor a try since I have not gotten any relief after 2 acupuncture treatments at 2 different acupuncture clinic. She came highly recommended so I had high hope but was immediately disappointed upon arrival as her office appeared untidy and unsanitary. Not withstanding my initial judgement, I decided to ignore my instincts and proceeded with inquiring about my treatment as I was in much pain and wanted to just give it a shot at this point. Her initial price quote was $1,200 for several sessions which I thought was outrages and unheard of and appeared to be unethical which suggested this doctor’s mission was to make money and not to treat and heal patients. I have been to many different acu doctors and have never came across one who wants to sell her package deal without giving the patient a chance to see if her initial treatment is even effective. I inquired why her price is so high to which she replied “because i’m good and I guarantee healing”? Wow, such confidence in her reply but my treatment proved to be non effective after I agreed to settle for my first treatment which involved just several needles and one cupping fir 30 min at $300.00. I left her office upset for being ripped off and for a non effective treatment. I should have listened to my instincts and left initially. I would not recommend this doctor to any of my friends. On a positive note, I have since found an amazing acupuncture doctor who truly wanted to treat and heal patients and only charge $80 per visit. Dr Wu is amazing! Doctor who speaking on the phone is a very angry person she has no patience for people outside of her own race I told her I was having stomach problems and she kept screaming that she does acupuncture acupuncture and I said yes but you advertise that you acupuncture for the stomach so finally she said you come here talk to me.When I showed up, no one would talk to me because I'm white the good doctor didn't answer her phone the first time and it went to voicemail and the second time it didn't even give me the option to leave a message.
