When you're feeling broke and want a decent meal for under $6, come here for the combo they have. 2 or 3 item combos available. It even comes with a bowl of soup. I also really like their watermelon juice they blend up for you upon ordering.

Your get in line, pick the items you want, then tell them whatever else you want to order, like watermelon juice. Then tell them the number of the table you want to sit at. Yea, it's a bit confusing, but once you get it, it'll be second nature the next time around. They also have the old school style shaved ice with a bunch of random asian toppings like grass jelly, red bean or mango pudding.

This place is legit! Best pan fried bao I had outside of Shanghai and that says a lot. It has so much juice and such a flavor bomb while the outside is perfectly crispy. My husband second favorite is the jing du meat pie which is deep fried pancake with pork fillings. These two both require 15-20 wait time since they are made to order so I usually get a couple of dishes from the buffet section while I wait. My favorites there are the Shanghainese meatballs and vegetable dishes like seaweed, eggplant or cabbage.

The cashier (maybe owner?) was so nice and friendly. He's Shanghainese and I told him I lived in shanghai for a couple of years. Then he offered me a few pastries on the house like the moon cake with meat fillings wow those are so delicious too.

Fat and bones, salty food! I was buying food from this chain fast food, Chinese restaurant long time ago and it was fresh and very busy most time. I was there again yesterday. There were no single customer was eating inside, all empty in the Friday evening. I trusted this restaurant from the past, with OK experience, so I ordered some pork ribs, orange chicken and steam eggs with pork... Unfortunately, the quality of food has become incredibly poor and I may never come back to this restaurant again! The sweet and sour pork ribs, was so tough and dry, old, maybe sitting on the warmer for days; the chicken was fat and full of the skin and bones; the eggs was tasteless and no meat inside or very little...
