Last update. I called them back that same day and a person by the name of “Jay” answered. I just wanted to let them know about the part that was sold to us. I asked kindly to speak to the manager/owner but Jay told me “There isn’t any here”. Very angrily, he said that the worker Kyle who spoke rudely to my husband and I, threw the keys to his face, slammed the door, and quit. He told us that he hoped my husband and I were happy and “got what we wanted”, because he left and quit . He continued to speak very loudly and angrily to us. We tried to explain what had happened with Kyle and what the other repair shop told us about the part. Jay responded, “What would you like for me to do, sue him, throw a block on his head,”… and continued giving me sarcastic comments. “Jay” kept talking over us very rudely, not letting my husband and I speak. Overall, Very rude people… lots of things were said to me that were very unprofessional and mean. We are not leaving this review because we are unsatisfied with the cost of fixing the phone. Only charging for the labor would have been fine with us. You all didn't have the part available for one and said it would be 4 days before you could repair the phone. Again no problem, the way we were spoken to is completely unacceptable. This was aggressive and unprofessional. We came in respectfully wanting to deal with this calmly and fairly, but it's funny how in response to a bad review your tone changes completely. Now you want to "Deal with this privately " too little, too late. As Jay said when we called back, "you already went to another repair shop. What do you expect me to do? Your phone is fixed. Why are you calling at all? Kyle quit already this morning I had to come in because of you. What now? What can I do for you? Are you happy now? He quit! it's resolved. your phone is fixed"

We told Jay we wanted nothing and an apology at best is what we expected when we called for your rude worker. We now know it runs through the shop itself. Not just one but two people spoke to us rudely!
Update, we went to another shop that replaced the Faulty part sold to us by North Point. The other repair shop said that there was no damage to the screen. They said this was a bad part with no damage whatsoever. Pictures as shown with the bad part on the left and the new screen on the right
They claim there was damage to the screen. There was a scratch on the screen protector. The screen was not damaged.
I went to North Point Computers about a week ago to repair my broken cracked screen. They fixed it in 30 minutes and went on about my day. A week later, half the screen went black and not accessible. I went in person and talked to Kyle and explained the situation and told him that I hadn't dropped my phone/ misused it for the screen to be like that. He said that " I broke my phone" multiple times very rudely to me. Blaming me for something that I didn't do. I kept telling him that I had taken care of it and it could be an error they made. He kept talking back to me very strongly and aggressively saying that I broke it.
I leave the building and go home to tell my husband. My husband called to the place to talk to the man who was speaking to me. He also disrespected my husband on the phone after explaining the situation and sarcastically said , " well ask the person who has the phone." "They broke it."
Long story short, don't come here! They will speak to you very rudely. I would have paid to get it fixed either way but to be blamed and disrespected to not one, but 2 people is unprofessional and childish! Not to mention, Kyle couldn't stop shaking while speaking to me and my husband!
I went to another local repair phone and computer shop and explained the situation and where I repaired my phone. The worker scoffed and said that we weren't the first people that came to them after going to North Point. They also have had multiple people say how badly they spoke to them and always blame them for the repairs they do!...
   Read moreI took my IPad to have broken screen replaced $183 for the part and $150 for labor picked it up and saw that the screen wasn’t put on right, it was coming off on the bottom and it wasn’t centered over the home button correctly, took it back made some lame excuse about it being dirty on the inside but to leave it and come back no change still broken, and to top it off when I went to pick it up, he literally comes out gives me the I pad and walks away while I was talking and goes to the back and doesn’t come back DO NOT BRING YOUR ELECTRONICS HERE!!! They fixed it up the same day I took it in for a very reasonable price, and I am more then happy with how my phone works now. They were very friendly people and were informative about my device, the problems I had and how they would go about the trouble shooting process.
