Cowboys Bar -B-Q Station — Restaurant in Alice

I tried Cowboys for the first time today. I ordered the 3 meat plate consisting of brisket 1 pork rib and 1 link of sausage with beans and potato salad as sides. The plate also included 2 slices of bread with onions and pickles as well. The wife ordered the carne guisada plate which also came with the same sides and Mexican rice. The brisket was super tender but lacked a little flavor. The pork rib was delicious and fall off the bone. I enjoyed the sausage and sides as well. The wife enjoyed the carne guisada but wasn't able to finish it so I helped her a bit lol. The carne guisada was really tender as well and the Mexican rice was great. This is by far one of the greatest hidden gems in south texas. If you haven't had a chance to make your way to this restaurant, you are truly missing out.
