Little Boat-Net — Restaurant in Alice

I'm editing this review from 5 stars to 1star and with good reason. Picture speaks for itself. This place has gone downhill. They used to be thorough, and extremely pleasant but NOT ANY MORE. OVERPRICED, GROSS, TINY PORTIONS. Not too long ago I loved everything. All that is over. Maybe new management or owner, idk. God bless everyone. Times are hard. Money is hard to come by. If I purchase from an establishment it means I trust the products quality and I budgeted to do so. I try to support local businesses but they honestly need to think about us too. We give money and we should receive quality product or service every single time because every single time we leave our hard earned money behind. I could spend the exact same amount at a nice franchise and get quality but supporting the local small business shouldn't mean same price...

I was happy with the friendly customer service and pleased with the food. I ordered 2 #5 for dinner for my family but when we got home, I went to give my daughter some shrimp and when i opened the other box expecting to have 9 fish and 9 shrimp, there was only 9 fish. The first box the had the correct order, the fish was extremely salty. I also ordered mushrooms and they were very soggy. When I called about the missing shrimp, the woman i spoke to had said she put the shrimp and treated me like i was lying. She made an order of 9 shrimp and when i went to pick it up, the lady at the drive through speaker was rude to me. What started as a good experience had turned into a very bad one. The 2nd box of fish that didn't have shrimp, the fish was good and seemed more fresh than the 1st box. First and last time my family will...

Passed through town yesterday and stopped by. I was impressed with the place. It was nice and very clean. The young man at the counter was very nice and really good at multi tasking. Then there was the food. We started with the fried mushrooms-really good! Also had shrimp, a burger and a grilled chicken sandwich-all awesome! Also loved the crinkle fries!!! Lastly the earthquake cake-scrumptious! Just had a great experience in the middle of along trip. And kudos to the young man at the counter (Damien). He was excellent and a hard worker managing the dining area all by himself....
