I want to make this clear that the 1 star review is not for Sprint. It is for this store. Not all t mobile stores, just this particular store. I have had great results at the Beaver Valley Mall and the Chippewa store. This one is just close to work. I went to the store to early upgrade my Samsung phone to go back to an IPhone. I was told that only a manager can deal with sprint customers at a t mobile store. When the manager finally got to me, he told me I had to pay off the phone before I could early upgrade. I had already started the upgrade process online and didn't want to pay shipping and wait. I left the store and got in my car in the parking lot. While literally sitting in my car looking though the shop window, I completed my upgrade to a new IPhone 13promax. My new phone and upgrade return kit are on the way to me. What is the point of having a store front business that can't help existing customers?? Is it because I'm a sprint customer and not a T Mobile customer? I've been with Sprint since 2010 and haven't seen customer service this bad. This was the 3rd time I've been to that store and not received help for different things. I usually get my phone cases and accessories from the Sprint store when I get a new phone. When this one comes in, I'll be going to the Sprint store across town in Chippewa UPDATE TO REVIEW------------- Yesterday I received the IPhone 13 Pro Max that I upgraded to using my early upgrade feature on the Sprint App. Upon receiving it, I opened the box. Called sprint and activated my new phone. This store manager talked about a past due balance and having to pay off the device first. Sprint customer service told me what I already knew. Return the Samsung phone in the return box and there is no balance. As for the past due balance, paying my bill towards the end of the month is feasible for my budget. I wasn't aware that I could change my payment due date and did a payment extension. This was an issue with the store..not with customer service. I love my new iPhone alot more than my Galaxy S21. My family spent the entire day there upgrading phones because we were told that we had $5,000 credit to put towards new phones, and some phones were even going to stop working once 2022 came due to the switch from Sprint. Everyone upgraded due to this wonderful news (which we were not obligated to take - our contract was up at that point and we would have went with a different carrier if it weren't for these empty promises they sold us). They even told us that our bill would decrease and save us $20 per month. It wasn't till weeks later that we found that one of the phones was on a lease which we never agreed to and was never mentioned, all the phones were being charged for insurance which we blatantly said no to, and 3 of the phones had roughly $30 payments each. Now our family is tied to a much higher monthly bill than we can afford, and customer service will not rectify the issue. After spending a horrific accumulation of hours online and with customer service trying to sign up for Internet and told I have to go to the store, that's what I did. To be told I will be charged more and get no promotions because the store doesn't offer that.... I asked to speak with management and was told that I can't because they aren't there. It is not my fault that online couldn't process my order and I was told to go to the store so I should get the discounts available that were online.
