Allegan County Fair — Local services in Allegan

They allowed parking passes from different years for as long as I can remember. I have volunteered multiple times. However, this year I couldn't. I used 1 on the first day and they got me in. No big problem. The next day I go I use 4 of the free parking and entry passes from 2021. The lady at the window says that they don't work. She tells me that I have to pay double for the last time. I thought she was joking so I laughed her off. But then she restated that I owed her the increased amount. I walked in and thought for a minute then I realized that she couldn't make me pay for last time. I then went to the office and got someone to come out with me to the booth. The lady got yelled at and I got half my money back. However, that's not the end. The boss of the fair then became unprofessional and called people saying that I used fake passes to try to get into the fair. Then when I got turned away. I went to the office to...

We went for the Michigan Fiber Festival. We were told at the gate that dogs are allowed only to find out half an hour later that they are not. The secretary was very nice when she approached us to clarify the situation. However, while we were walking to where our vehicle was parked, we were approached by another staff member who treated us as if we were criminals. When we told her that we got the wrong information at the gate, she was angry at us as if we had made up the story. Then another person was trying to verify that we were leaving. We wish the staff members had investigated the situation instead and considered the possibility that there was a miscommunication among themselves. We spent $5 each person and were there for about half an hour (after a long drive of an hour and a half). Well it's been a while since I originally wrote this review. Tonight Allegan County Fair is Back and Awesome 2021. I was looking at T-shirts for concert on Sept 17 It was starting to sprinkle a little rain so I said to this young man Looks like some Whiskey and Rain and he bought the T-shirt for me and told me to enjoy myself. I did enjoy myself and Thanks so much for the T-shirt since you wouldn't let me pay you I will have to pay it Forward. God Bless Y'all.
