Title: Beware: @LG and @Choice Home Warranty - A Disheartening Two Week Experience
Review: It is with profound disappointment and a sense of obligation to potential consumers that I share my recent experience with LG and Choice Home Warranty. My encounter with these companies has been nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by mistreatment, unfulfilled promises, and a flagrant disregard for customer satisfaction.
Well over two weeks ago, I reached out to Choice Home Warranty regarding an issue with an LG refrigerator covered under their warranty. Little did I anticipate the tumultuous journey that awaited me. Despite initiating contact promptly and patiently engaging in over thirty phone calls, the outcome has been absolutely futile.
Throughout this ordeal, both LG and Choice Home Warranty have exhibited a concerning pattern of evasion and refusal to honor their contractual obligations. The lack of accountability displayed by these companies is not only disheartening but also serves as a obvious reminder of the pitfalls consumers may encounter in trusting their products and services.
Despite my best efforts to seek resolution through communication channels, including repeated attempts to escalate the matter, the response from both LG and Choice Home Warranty has been consistently inadequate. Their failure to acknowledge and address my concerns speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction and integrity.
To those considering purchasing products or warranties from LG or engaging with Choice Home Warranty, I implore you to proceed with caution. My experience serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting the potential pitfalls of entrusting your hard-earned money to companies that prioritize profit over customer well-being.
In conclusion, I urge LG and Choice Home Warranty to reflect on their actions and reconsider their approach to customer service. The disregard for accountability and the blatant refusal to honor warranties are not traits befitting of reputable companies. Until meaningful steps are taken to rectify this situation and prioritize customer satisfaction, I cannot in good conscience recommend either of these...
Read moreThe delivery and installation has been very frustrating since the start. When I purchased the washer and the dryer it had 4/23 delivery date. On 4/21 I contacted them because the tracking said that I needed to contact customer care about the rescheduled delivery date. I was told it was still scheduled to arrive on 4/23. I made sure I was home that day to receive the delivery and no one ever showed up. I then called back later in the afternoon and the agent kept saying he wanted to make sure that he was understanding the issue and that I didn't understand tracking. Which was rude and not the case. I was then told that we would be contacted on Friday to schedule the delivery. Once I got a message for the delivery I had a calendar I could pick delivery dates. I chose Saturday the 26th and blocked my day off to receive the delivery again. Then the installer came and said he couldn't take or install the dryer because it was gas and they didn't schedule it with a licensed installer. I called LG and they said the agent was extremely rude and said she would reschedule it for the next day. I then blocked my Sunday off and Sunday morning I received another call that they scheduled it with the wrong technician again and we needed to reschedule it for Tuesday. I don't understand how they could schedule it with a Non licensed technician and every single time I would try and call to get it scheduled they were so rude and acted like I didn't understand that it needed a special technician which was not the case. I understood that but didn't understand why they kept scheduling it with a Non licensed technician. They did offer a $50 credit for the inconvenience but rearranging my schedule and being here for three days to receive the delivery and wait for the installation is worth more than $50 for the hours wasted being here for the...

We had our new LG washer 29 days when it completely flooded the laundry room. We had water damage to the floor and walls. Serve Pro had to come out and then we had to have new flooring installed as well. LG required us to use a certain repair company or it would void the warranty. It took repair man 15 days to come out, he was rude and before he even looked at washer said it was the fault of the installers and not the fault of LG. He said the report will state it was not LGs fault, so we would probably not be reimbursed by LG but we could try to get Lowes to reimburse the damage costs. It was very apparent he worked for LG and his main goal was to make it so LG didnt have to pay/reimburse us for anything. Luckily, we took a video of him opening the washer and it was clear two of the hoses had come loose - and hadn't been clamped down properly. He then said it looked like the washer had been tampered with but he conviently "forgot" to take pictures showing that the lid was "askew." When he realized we had a video of him openjng the washer he then says maybe the hoses came off during transport. His story/resoning kept changing to keep LG from having to pay. I've been calling LG for months, and the person who answers the phone says someone will contact me and they NEVER do. Called again recently and was told my case was closed without ever even speaking with us. Also, if you ask LG for a phone number or email for the person who's supposed to contact you, you are told there isn't one. All you can do is wait to be called by them, which NEVER happens.
We are out about $1400 in repairs because of our bew washer, not to mention everything lost in the flood and the stress on me and my family. We're definitely...
