Great food, but the customer service is dreadful as of late. This coming from a 6-year regular. Recently, I ate there then ordered a soup to go to eat the next day (this was on a Saturday). Upon discovering the next day that there was no CHICKEN in this CHICKEN soup, I called them and it was a huge hassle to get this resolved; the manager on duty actually asked for a BANK ACCOUNT statement to prove I had ordered the soup. Finally the matter was resolved when a cashier mentioned that I was indeed there the day before, and I drove over to get the new soup. Even more recently I ordered a chicken soup to go and found out at home they messed up my order again and included cheese (I have a dairy allergy so always request they hold the cheese, this has been the case for years). Called in, manager assured me I could pick up a free soup and sent me a vague coupon. When I drove over the next day they only offered a 10% discount and refused to give up the soup. I don’t know what’s the deal with this soup, but as a regular I find it disappointing that their priority is holding onto their soup rather than treating longtime customers right, especially after they are messing up orders, making people drive all the way across town. Won’t be...
Read moreOne of the greatest Latin restaurants in the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area. They have extremely fast service and the food the serve is traditional and very delicious. They have a variety of options including the standards that you would expect at a Latin-American restaurant, but they also have some very traditional and unique dishes such as Molcate which is essentially a fajita but has an edible part of a cactus included. My favorite thing on the menu is the Presidente (Texas) fajita which has every possible thing you would be looking for in a fajita. It has steak, chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, chorizo, bacon and topped with melted cheese. It comes with a side of lettuce, rice, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, and tomatoes. This restaurant clearly is doing everything right and it would be a mistake for everyone to not try it out. It comes highly recommended. They also have a station in the middle of the restaurant where you can experiment with different salsas with different levels of spice. This really enhances the dish you eat because every bite can be something new to explore with a different type of salsa. The spice levels are given with each salsa and they are true to their...
Read moreI got take out here a couple of days ago and I was extremely disappointed in the food after reading all of the other great reviews. They are only receiving two stars because their chips and salsa were excellent. Other than that the rest of the order was pretty awful. I tried their tongue tacos (which are my favorite) and I ended up throwing them in the trash. Half of the meat was not edible whatsoever. The meat was primarily the connective tissue, pure white fat, and tough hard to chew skin. There was barely any actual meat in the tacos. I also tried their chicken soup. The soup was basically chicken and rice in a salty broth. There was no avocado, tomatoes, onions, or cilantro in this soup. Previous restaurants I've ordered from included this on the side, but this place did not. The chicken was also very tough and hard to chew. Lastly, the rice was pretty awful. It was overcooked, soggy, and almost on the verge of being a porridge. I was honestly hoping that this would become my goto place in the area, but it does not look...
