We were huge fans if Bezoria when it was across from Avalon and were sad to see it leave when we saw the coming soon sign a few months ago we were excited they were coming back, and only about half a mile further down the road too!
The layout has changed some, but the food quality is just as we remember it.
We all got the saj wraps, steak and chicken shawarma, falafel, cauliflower and fries and everything was awesome.
Service was great and friendly, and we interacted with the owners and chef who made sure we were taken care of
Layout is a little different, but they now have a drive through (which could be dangerous and far too easy to swing by in my way home from work!)
Instead of the build as you go process, you can order at a kiosk or place your order with the cashier, and the food gets made in the kitchen.
Sauces were as I remembered and the fries were actually better than I remember. Falafel and fried cauliflower were just as good as before, and we were too full to eat the baklava (but it looks like a winner!) We also got a lentil soup and it was hot and a nice little hint of spice too.
Will be back again soon! Give them a try!...
Read moreBezoria is back in Alpharetta!! Years back, my family knew that my favorite restaurant was Bezoria. I'd even pick it for birthday meals! So you know it was real bummer when I found out it had closed. I've been to the one in Gwinnett a few times and it's good and also to the one in Cobb, but neither are as convenient as Alpharetta was.
I saw that coming soon sign a few months back and excitedly texted my wife a photo!
I finally got to visit the new location and love the new space! You can order at a kiosk up front, which is what I did. Niyaz gave five star service! When he wasn't ringing up orders, he was patrolling the dining area, checking on each and every guest. He checked on me a couple of times and even grabbed my tray and trash as I stood up after my meal. To top that off, he used my name each time. Such impressive service from Niyaz!
Great food! I enjoyed lentil soup and a hummus based bowl with falafel and extra grilled veggies. I ate every single morsel!
Niyaz said they have a pick up window and a couple of private rooms that can be used.
The new space is great and the food is still great and the service is...
Read moreAs someone who has grown up in the Middle East, this place is legit. The moment you walk in, those familiar aromas take you straight back to the streets of my childhood where shawarma vendors have perfected recipes over generations.
The freshness here is unmatched - you can taste it in every bite from the lamb, beef to their house-made Saj bread. I have a weak spot for places that bake their own bread, and watching them pull that perfectly thin, slightly charred Saj from the dome oven instantly won me over.
Their sauce selection is stellar - at least 3-4 different options ranging from the classic toum to a perfectly spiced harissa that builds heat without overwhelming.
Portions are refreshingly generous in times where elsewhere fast-casual means tiny servings at premium prices. I left with enough for another meal. Don’t miss the baklava and the drinks!
