Under Armour Factory House - Outlets of Des Moines — Local services in Altoona

I really love going out to the outlet for Under Armour clothing however I am a bit annoyed bc when I went to check out the sales associate said are you military or a veteran. I said my husband is a veteran and she proceed to tell me well you can get 40% extra off over then next week he will just need to come in with you. I completely understand that there are people that will say they are military or a veteran and they are not however I know I didn't actually serve but he is apart of my family. You could simply say if you have a picture of his ID we can take that. I don't usually shop with my husband and I live about an hour and 15 minutes away so no I won't just come right back tomorrow. I just don't understand why everything has to be so black and white can we not think outside the box. I will be back, probably not during the military discount...

I go in to do some shopping. Unfortunately, a lot of these sporting goods stores don't carry long pants as I'm 6'4". I continued to grab 7 pairs of pants and the employee tells me if you like them we can order them in the long. Perfect right? Nope. They wouldn't even let me use the dressing room. They just lost about a $500 sale bc they said they were too "short-staffed" as 1 employee was at the register and the other 2 were just gossiping in the corner... completely outrageous. Just came back from Florida and visited UA at a number of outlets while visiting. We have a dog that we are training to be a nursing home visitor dog. The dog was able to go in all the UA stores in Florida but not in this particular UA in Altoona. I might note that the Altoona mall is pet friendly and all the other stores we visited welcomed the dog, such as Coach and Polo. We had lots of comments about how well the dog behaved. Staff at Altoona UA was very polite about saying the dog was not allowed in the store. We left the store but I will not be back in this particular UA. Seems odd that no issues in...
