I gave this place a few months as I do any new restaurant before trying it. I was excited when three different people checked to make sure that I had been taken care of after entering the front door. Then when it came time to receive the meal I wondered if it was ever going to arrive. A grilled chicken sandwich and a hotdog was our meal. It took close to 40 minutes to get it and it arrived cold. The waitress was amazing and took very good care of us. She was doing her job as well as helping a trainer train a new employee and defuse several other situations nearby. She was very professional and personable and obviously has a great future ahead of her if she gets out from underneath this manager. She tried to resolve our issue by returning the food to the kitchen to be warmed up which took an additional half hour before it returned. We of course ordered a couple more drinks in order to pass the time only to find out that upon receiving the check the manager who was communicated with by the waitress about the situation decided that since it was “replaced and warmed up” that was good enough and that no compensation would be made. In disbelief at the lack of compassion or concern by management we asked to speak directly to the manager. He joined us at our table only to instead of recognize that there were issues, defend himself. He kept referring to the fact that his food is “made fresh.“ ??? That was his explanation as to why it took so long to get the chicken and the hotdog. We suggested trying some marketing similar to Culver’s so that upon arriving all parties would be informed that it would take a much longer time to dine than an typical restaurant because they serve “fresh food.” He then went on to tell us the logistics as to how most restaurants handle issues and that he felt his procedures were in line. All in all after explaining to him that we did not want the gift card he offered because we would not be returning, he left our table in a negative manner and said he would see what he could do. After weighing it all for several minutes LONGER, he was very very very gracious and took the hotdog and the cold vegetables from our bill. LOL! After reading all of the other reviews I see that my experience is very similar to others and that his comments on other posts indicating that he appreciates constructive criticism so that the restaurant can improve is just… Well… BS. Being a big supporter of small businesses I was in high hopes that this would be handled in a suitable manner. It makes not going back a very easy decision to make. I predict this restaurant won’t be...

Stopped in tonight with my mom for a later supper. Their website says they're operating at 50% capacity (which they are) and there was a full parking lot when we arrived, so we thought it would be a long wait. To our surprise, we were pleasantly greeted and promptly seated. The seating is mostly high-top tables, and, being short-legged women, we requested a booth. Without any hesitation, the hostess happily moved us.
Our server, Kate, quickly greeted us and took our drink order, followed soon after with our meal order. We ordered the pizza spaghetti bake and a bacon cheeseburger with French fries. The food came out fairly quickly (15 minutes or so) and was delivered by a smiling manager who asked at the time if he could bring us a drink refill and any condiments.
The burger tasted amazing. It was cooked slightly longer than I would like (more on the well-done side versus a requested medium) but was still incredibly juicy and a very good size. The bun was lightly toasted, but so soft and delicious, and the bacon was crisp and delicious; just the way I like it. The fries were perfectly fried and crispy as well. My mom's spaghetti bake came out steaming and picture perfect. Fresh tomatoes and fresh basil accompanied perfectly al dente pasta topped with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. For two entrees and two pops, our total was $32.30 (before tip).
10/10: We will definitely be back soon, especially now that baseball is...
Read moreI'm usually hopefully optimistic when trying a new place and always tip well! Not here! Food was sub part AT BEST!! Service was terrible, waitress was the least personable I've ever encountered and that says alot because we try new places all of the time! Where do I even begin with this review?!?! Waitress asked us if we wanted something to drink before we had even sat down and drinks aren't on menu other than the alcoholic beverage menu. Ordered a sandwich and it was burnt so bad like they had scraped a burnt pan into the meat! Didn't ask how our meal was ever at any point, my wife got a refill once but I didn't even get one until our food was done and we were ready to leave...like what's the point now?! And she didn't even ask if I wanted it just walked by and rudely ripped it from the table came back slammed it down and walked away. Asked if we wanted a box for the pizza we had left (Margherita) and I said yes, came back and threw it on my arm and walked off! My wife didn't care for the pizza and I hated the sandwich! You could get better made food from high-school kids trust me! Will never go back again and made it known with the tip and told them so on the receipt! Save yourself the time, money, and poor quality if service and food! I NEVER write reviews but made sure to this time so others wouldn't be fooled into thinking this place has anything good to offer and people won't feel regretful giving them a dime of...
