Does well for what it is.

So, what is it? It's an order at the counter, no frills, small Mexican food joint that serves average Mexican food at the beach.

You'll most likely not be impressed or disappointed to dine here. The counter service was efficient and the people were friendly.

For this place to be memorable they need to improve the atmosphere a bit and expand (if even possible) a bit. Maybe a great Margarita or local cocktail they're known for. That counter would actually make for good bar/counter seating...?

Good place that I'll probably try again.

Think twice about eating at Mi Casa ! Obviously with 4.3 stars and great reviews , we decided to try mi casa ! 4.3 stars had to be before this establishment was taken over by new owners ! Service was horrible the rudest staff ever ! I've never been treated so poorly in my life ! I've never had anyone throw hot sauce across the table ! There was hair in Tortillas ! When we asked for more tortillas they made us pay for them and they gave us corn tortillas after we asked for flour ! They told us to get up and get our own drinks , which would have been fine , but we were not given any cups to get our drinks ! This is the first review I've ever given poor ratings ! This was the worst experience we have had at watercolor ! If you want good service and a quick meal I recommend anywhere but this establishment ! The pictures on the website of this establishment are old this place looks nothing like...

For context, when we walked in, we were the only people there but 10 minutes later, every table was taken. The service was very nice. When you walk in, 4 people greeted you and they were very personable and on top of that, the food came out very quick. The issue we had was that they increased the price in food but all the meat on our tacos was so dry and there were no limes. We got our food before we sat down after getting drinks, so the wait or friendly atmosphere wasn’t the issue. 4 people standing there chatting when we walked in, but the sauces available for anyone to touch was caked to the side of the containers and limes were out of stock. I would consider this a fast food restaurant and not a sit down, $4+ was too much for the tacos...
