Legacy Airsoft — Local services in Amarillo

ADULTS BEWARE!!!! While this is neat place for children to be, they are very adult unfriendly. One of the biggest problems I have is the totalitarian nature the staff has. I do not have any children of my own, I came to escape some terrible things that has happened in my life, play some games and forget, they have a very large selection of games I do not have. Upon coming in they are insanely steep on thier prices probably to accommodate for the expenses of thier equipment. They informed me that swearing wasn't allowed, which makes sense since there are children there. I had a phone call that I moved away from the children to have, I walked into an unoccupied space with lights on the ceiling to talk about some very graphic things I've seen and to express with some choice language, I believed there would be no prying ears. One of the staff members proceeded to not only invade a deeply personal conversation, but then decided to yell at me like a child because of what I was trying to get off my chest to my therapy officer. I felt so attacked and unsafe in that moment, like the safe environment they provided was a sham. Why would they do this? I will not be coming back and I will not spend a single dime here again. The staff uses thier personal beliefs to belittle and judge others and that is not right. Not a very christan organization. Never felt so...

(Edited version) The Vault Legacy is a pretty cool gaming/airsoft/card place. They host a variety of tournaments as well. John is the go to for cards. He is able to help with anything else as well. Very hard worker. If anyone deserves a good review it's him. If I had to choose anyone else it would be between Jay, Israel and chelsea. The only complaints I have (these are not enough to take the star rating down but I still feel the need to share due to personal experience) is that some of the employees there tend to voice their own personal input where it is not needed and somewhat unnecessary. Being bothered in a ranked match of any game is slightly annoying. Also the same with playing in the middle of a tournament match where winning money or prizes are on the line. (These issues do not include the people running the airsoft side) The people I have named are worth their weight in gold and the vault is lucky to have them. This place was so freakin awesome!! All of the gentlemen that work there were very nice and super informative! We booked a 2 hour birthday party. The airsoft guns, ammo, face shields, and a chest/back guard were provided with the booking. We had two hours in the one room, and then after the two hours, we could participate in the bigger room that has a bunch of obstacles, and two story structures. All of the teenagers and the two dads had a lot of fun playing real life Call of Duty. I would definitely recommend them for teenager birthday parties!! They also have daily rates for anyone that just wants to go up there and do the obstacle room. They do different missions every 20-30 minutes....
