Taylor’s Furniture, Appliance and Mattress Store Amarillo Tx — Local services in Amarillo

While we were with my husbands parents today their dryer quit. They had, purchased a $900 speed queen electric dryer from this small local Amarillo store, Taylor's, in October of 2013. Yes, they were very nice and had good customer service at the time of their purchase...but the dryer has now quit heating. So of course she calls this local Amarillo store she purchased it from to have someone service the product they were so anxious to sell her. But, they do not repair (okay) and they said the only repairmen they knew of in Amarillo was.... 2 people... one he said would not come to her area and the other he would not recommend at all. SO, he then said she could probably find someone in Pampa...I say be very aware of the fact that Taylor's, this small local Amarillo store will sell you an appliance, but that is where their customer service stops. You would think if they sell appliances they would make it a part of their business to know a few repair men they could give ther customers when they need one....but that would be a part of having actual Good customer service. That is a place she would go back to to purchase an appliance. She will go Some where else to purchase appliances...

I had purchased furniture at Ashley's, but they kept giving grief when it would be delivered.l stopped at Taylor's, found what I wanted. Went back to Ashley's and to make a long story short, I ended up having to dispute the charge on my card because they refused to cooperate with helping me to get furniture. I went back to Taylor's and my furniture was delivered the same day. Thank you Scott. DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH...

Purchased a Power Lift Recliner from this Store yesterday for my Elderly Mother. We went to a couple of local Chain Stores who either did not have one in Stock or were way overly priced, PLUS a Delivery Charge. Taylor's had two chairs in Stock, reasonably priced, USA made and they were happy to Deliver same day at No Charge. They also hauled off Mom's old chair. Glad we shopped Local and supported an Amarillo business....
