My family an I eat here alot until now! We all usually get steak an shrimp or steak an chicken.Our order was $80 an all 3 of us had unedible steak! It was so cheap an chewy an hard even being cooked at medium! I even asked upon ordering to make sure the food specially the steak was seasoned! It was NOT ! Still even after asking! I then called the owner an informed her politely (because she knows our family because we're regulars) that it was awful an wasted .she just said ok I'll with kitchen to not buy no more! Never offered anythg bk or to try again nothing! I'm not going back! I do have to give her husband props though his sushi is really good an they do offer soy paper. For the prices Food needs to upgraded for the business to stay open! People in Amite are so happy having the choice for hibachi but at this point lots will drive to Hammond...

I had high hopes for this place because I LOEV LOVE LOVE hibachi. I am a vegetarian/pescatarian so I need my veggies! I was hoping for a variety but it was mostly broccoli with a few Smithers of carrots and zucchini. This rice was hard an dry, just not what I was expecting. Service was good. Prices were fair. Portions were okay, except for the "jumbo shrimp." No hibachi tables, which was disappointing. All the food was cooked in the back. And the flavors were not great. The rice tasted like buttered rice. The veggies were not really seasoned much and the yum-yum sauce only slightly improved the taste of the food. We won't be going back.
