The merchants name is Trampoline Jumpers. The date of the transaction was December 16, 2017. The disputed amount is $2199.00. Neither I, or my husband Juan authorized or signed for or received the merchandise. This item was guaranteed delivery by December 25th, Christmas, and was a present for my 6 year old daughter from Santa. I received an email on December 19th that said please contact SAIA for delivery appointment. I called everyday to SAIA and they continued to say the merchandise was not in. It never came. On December 26th, I called Trampoline jumpers, explained the situation and they assured me they were on it. I finally was able to secure a delivery date of Tuesday January 2nd. The delivery time was from 9am to 4pm in which my husband had to take off work to stay home all day. They never showed up. On Wednesday Jan 3rd, my husband and I were both at work and we received a call that they were at our house to deliver the trampoline. I called SAIA and they stated they were sorry, we did in fact have a delivery date of Jan 2nd and they had made a mistake but they were now at my house. I called my husband and he had to leave work to try to get home to get it. When he got here the delivery driver would not even help us get the merchandise to the garage, he wanted to leave it at the end of the driveway which I understand is stated in the agreement, however SAIA is the one who made the mistake on delivery day and my husband had a total of 10 min to get back to work so he refused the product as we were unable to leave it at the end of our driveway all day. I made multiple calls to trampoline jumpers as well as emailed and never got any response. You are only able to leave a message with no return call. On January 15th I received another call trying to set delivery and we told them once again this was a present from Santa. We had already ordered another trampoline and would not be accepting this one. THE TERMS WERE GUARANTEED DELIVERY BY CHRISTMAS. On 1/20/18, I received a notice from The Trampoline Store stating they were charging me storage fees and that storage fees started on 1/19/18. I didn’t receive the notice until 1/20/18. I immediately sent a letter with the questions they were requiring, on the 20th. They were faxed as well as emailed. I do not believe I should have to pay for shipping as it was guaranteed delivery by Christmas and it was not. Then it was scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday 1/2/18, we were here all day and it was not. Delivery driver came on a day we were at work and Trampoline Jumpers would never even answer their phone or help with this matter. They have several complaints from the BBB as well as a website that shows more than 20 complaints with their customer service. We did not receive any refund from them and we also did not receive a statement of their return policy at the time of sale. I am attaching the email from them as well as all of the documentation...
Read moreWe bought our $1499 Olympus Pro 8 x 14 rectangular trampoline (free shipping) in April 2015. We were assured it would be delivered within 10-days, in time for our daughter's birthday in May. This was a top of the line trampoline, with the best materials and the highest safety rating.
My experience with Customer Service was poor. Shortly after placing the order, I received an email with a shipping date well after the birthday. I called them back because I was very clear when I placed my order that if it would not arrive by the birthday, I would not be placing the order.
The people I spoke with on the phone were unhelpful and unfazed ("no one would have told you delivery would only take 10 days (Um, yes they did. I would not have bought it otherwise) and "it's being shipped from CA to MD, it's on a truck, what do you expect us to do?"), but they eventually promised to send us something for free (basketball net?) to make up for the delivery snafu. After all the back and forth, angst and worry, the thing ended up arriving on time, but the promised freebie item never did show up.; I didn't care, our daughter had her trampoline in time for her birthday.
We paid to have it professionally installed in our back yard ($300). It has sat outside in Maryland weather (snow, rain, etc) and our cheerleader daughter has used it extensively. The ladder only lasted about 2 months. We did not cover it up, or disassemble it during the winter (are you kidding me? Those instructions are just NOT realistic), so we recognize this likely contributed to its deteriorating condition.
We are now looking to buy a replacement trampoline, as the one we purchased 5 years ago from Trampoline Jumpers is broken, torn, worn, and essentially useless. Our daughter says every time she gets on it, one of the straps holding the springs together falls off, or another spring falls off. She is afraid to use it. She also says she wishes the net was closer to the mat, not on the other side of the springs (see 2020 pic).
We essentially paid $360 per year ($30/month) for the convenience of having a trampoline in our backyard. A little higher than I would have liked, but I am posting this review to let others know what to expect, under similar circumstances. On a bright note, no child has yet been injured while using the trampoline.
I wish more folks would post reviews after some time has elapsed, to get a realistic understanding of the product. The fresh out of the box "it looks great" reviews are just not as helpful. How does the thing hold up over...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE! There are many fake reviews for all the brands they offer. The jump is terrible and the quality and workmanship along with customer service are even worse. I got a 10x17 rectangle trampoline April 2019. Assembly was difficult due to welding slag in the connection points and Deformed metal. A file, prybar, and a hammer did the trick. The entire frame turned to a rust color after the first rain. The frame bows in the middle 2” on the length sides once the springs and mat are hooked up. The welds are terrible with no uniformity, gaps, and holes. The mat has terrible stitching zig zagging in and out of the intended stitching area. The pads became waterlogged after the first rain and subsequent rains dribbling water onto the mat on every bounce making it slick and unsafe. The safety net is fine but poorly designed connecting to the outside of the frame making it unsafe and you have to cut holes in the pad to connect the net to the frame properly. The springs are of a small diameter with less coils than comparable springs. Called customer service and they said to cut holes in the pads to release the water, the mat stitching was normal for them or any mat, that they would send me out paint for the rusting, and give me a credit to have the welds redone. They never followed through even after my attempts at follow-up and make this right. Paid $230 for welding plus travel and disassembly and reassembly, $30 for galvanizing paint and my labor to paint this thing and another $500 for a proper mat and springs. Still have to deal with some customization on the net to make it safe. I got duped! Check out my other reviews, they are...
