May 10th my daughter and I bought $158.00 worth of sea food for my Birthday and Mothers Day dinner with my family and friends. As dinner got started the jumbo shrimp and Scallops we notice had a very strong Ammonia smell. Since it was so late I washed everything hoping it was just in my mind. It was'nt. Seafood is not good. Spent a fortune on scallops and shrimp, both of which tasted like they had been bleached. They seemed to not care either when you mention it to them and denied that they treat their seafood. It was obvious the scallops were treated as they were white and not tan or vanilla colored as they should appear if untreated, despite being advertised as “fresh”.
