I have been using camera lens rentals for a few years now and I have always had an amazing experience with them. They are quick to respond, and happy to accommodate. This time around my new camera broke on me during one of my busiest weeks. It broke on Saturday, I emailed them Saturday night when I got home, asking if there was anyway to get a rental in on Monday since I had a shoot on Tuesday. They emailed back first thing Sunday and said the earliest they could do was Tuesday. I received my rental camera by 11am Tuesday!!! Amazing! Then, on top of that I accidentally left my media card inside the camera when I returned it. Ilean was great and shipped it right back to me when they received the camera. I was kinda between a rock and a hard place after having a lens get broken and a big event in 3 days. I reached out to Barry at Camera Lens Rentals and he had me all set up and ready to go pretty quickly. I rented the canon 70-200 f/2.8 III and it was pretty much in brand new condition and I absolutely loved the attention to detail in how it was packed in it's case. I was told about CLR by a couple of fellow racing photogs and they were absolutely correct in that Barry and his team are easy to work with, have excellent pricing and the gear is top notch especially when you consider it is rental gear, sure did not seem like rental gear in my experience though LOL. I’ve rented from them several times. This past time was the first rental I’ve gotten through them in few years. Everything was extremely clean and worked great which, I’ve found from renting elsewhere isn’t the norm so I was so grateful. I was renting to try a new mirrorless camera to replace my traditional DSLR and a lens before I bought myself. I didn’t realize the connectors were different on the mirrorless rendering the sigma lens I rented useless. I am unsure if it always come with an adaptor or not but they sent one with and I was so appreciative that I wasn’t stuck with a lens and camera that weren’t compatible because of my error. That alone has me coming back. Their ship time is quick and all prices are so reasonable. Will only be using them...
