King Gyros — Restaurant in Anderson

I really like King Gyro's food but the fact that they can't seem to get a person's order right is really getting quite old. My favorite thing to get is their Gyro except I never cared much for the cucumber sauce nor the fetta cheese so I always order it without. Well now due to health reasons I can't eat onions anymore so now I order it without anything on it. They have never messed up my food in that regard. What happens every frequently is the fact that I happen to enjoy their BBQ sauce so I request it on the side which is like $1 however for some reason they can't seem to put that in my bag at the window! When you get all the way home and find out it's not in the bag is frustrating. Yeah, I should have looked in the bag prior to pulling away but honestly as a customer it shouldn't have to be like that. I especially don't wanna drive back over just to get it and have cold food waiting on me at home. The workers there need to get things together otherwise I'm going to stop doing business with them and I'm going to further share my opinions on the matter among the variety of individuals I know that eat there to consider other restaurants to do business with instead. Step up your game King Gyro's or face loss of profits among the Coronavirus pandemic whereby places are already having a difficult time staying in business. This is ridiculous that you guys can't complete such a redundant and simple task like giving your customer the stuff they've paid...

We have been picking up our dinners here for over a decade. My favourite's the Half Slab Ribs, while Hubby loves his Gyros Combo. Recent years, with medical conditions, I switched to Gyros Combos as well. All was perfect, food's awesome, service awesome, until last weekend. Went to pick up the usual gyros combo for Hubby, his mom was with me, I decided to go for Grilled Chicken with Fried Zucchinis, while my mother-in-law wanted just a plain Chicken Dinner as her tummy wasn't well that day. The usual sweet lady at the window was not there. Instead, there was a man who seemed unwelcoming and impatient. After we got our food, we went home happy. However, all we got that day was awful. Hubby's gyros seemed different, my grilled chicken and fried zucchini were tasteless. You know, like cooking food without salt and seasoning, and my mother-in-law got barbecue chicken when we had ordered plain. We had to toss our food away as they were inedible. Especially my sad chicken. It was sadder than hospital food. I was disappointed coz King Gyros was my favourite restaurant. We have been picking up food from here regularly for over a decade, and have recommended it to everyone we know! We are now not so sure if we should go back there again, and that's pretty heartbreaking as we picked up from here like once or twice a week...

Excellent food, service and experiences, we keep going back because this place has the best portions in town at an affordable price. The food is always fresh and served hot. Location includes a drive thru, for that express convience of wonderful food. Options include: gyro sandwich, rib tip dinner, shrimp basket, bbq chicken dinner and several other great choices. You can order just the meat from the gyros. Other sides include: fries, onion rings, fried mushrooms, fried zucchini and a couple other items.
