I will start this review off by letting everyone know that the pharmacy experience at this Walgreens is top tier! They are always so polite and helpful. Unfortunately it is overshadowed by the terrible customer service experienced by the regular store employees! I literally despise having this staff as the staff for my local Walgreens and if you can afford to drive an extra 16 minutes down the road to Fuquay for better customer service you should do so. This morning I went in to deposit $481 into my chime account. The customer service representative’s name was Norma Cantu and this hasn’t been the first time I’ve had a negative interaction with her but today was just intentionally rude and the fact that a manager was standing right behind her (I couldn’t see her name tag but she was a younger African American woman with long faux locs) I pulled up a Chime deposit scan and she said it didn’t work by this time a the manager had come up to assist in the transaction but didn’t know the code didn’t work, so she was present. When she handed me my cash back I had refreshed the app and generated a new code and was trying to ask her to scan the new code because I didn’t know whether it was the code, the chime, or them🤷🏽♀️ She cut me off mid sentence and said “it didn’t work” I then told her it was rude to cut me off in the middle of my trying to tell her it was a new code. She then rolled her eyes, scanned it and proceeded to breathe loudly expressing her frustration with having to do her job (which was assisting me). This entire time her manager is standing behind her, she could’ve taken over the transaction since her employees rudeness had already been pointed out and seen. She did not said anything. She stood there while her employee expressed her lack of professionalism. The second code didn’t work which let me know it was Chime so going to another location wouldn’t have helped. (That’s all I was trying to figure out.) I said “Thank you, have a nice day!” She looked at me, rolled her eyes, and said nothing. The manager did respond (first time uttering a word) and said “Have a good day!” With a smile🥰 The problem I have is that she witness the lack of customer service and Norma was unprofessional all the way down to my exiting the store, she did this IN FRONT of management without any hesitation and that further lets me know that this is accepted, not corrected, normal behavior for her and it’s unacceptable. Employees need refresher training on customer service and management needs more training on conflict resolution because she could’ve stepped in at anytime as she seen the situation not going positively and changed the whole...
Read more6/5/25 has been a very stressful day working hours in the phone with Walgreen to get an emergency medicine. 9: Pam, I rec’vd a text, email and missed call voicemail from them saying the prescription the Dr sent in this morning was rec’vd. I waited several hours to get the 3 type msgs. From Walgreens it was ready to pick up.1:20pm, I still Never did so I called them. 1st 2 calls they did not have prescription I should call the Dr. which on Fridays closes at 12pm. So I called emergency in call Dr. and she verified prescription was sent to Walgreens, but faxed it again. I gave Walgreens 2 more hours. 3:30 pm no mags. From them I called them and they again do not have it. The cashier rudely put me on hold when I asked for Pharmacist as this is an emergency Life or death medicine.bathe cashier asked why for 2 reasons but none of the r aims she asked me as I was telling her she just put me on hold. 20 mins. Later a Pharmacy Texh. Said they did have it and it would be r day at 6pm. I went to Walgreens at 6pm and not ready. I went back approx. 7:15pm as Ty at the register never answered me about 1 of emergency meds. Walked off and left us standing there 10/15 minutes as he went to do something else with immunizations. I asked for other cashier to ring us out and get meds. He then came back and rudely spoke to us never answered what meds. In the bag. Finally paid for it and he walked off never saying a kind customer thing like thank you or sorry for leaving you standing here after starting to check us out. Not even thank you. TY always is short rude won’t convers with clientele and never is polite to customers. I do not recommend Walgreens Angier for these reasons. One thing I can say is the Pharmacist and assistant s are good with prescriptions, polite and helpful but the cashier staff is the worst or getting help about prescriptions. This is not the 1st time I receive text, phone call and email stating received and or ready Med. Pickup that it is not there or they say not received prescription. There are several other pharmacies in Angier I...
Read moreI have terrible experiences the last 3 times I got a RX refilled. The last time I attempted to go through the drive through for pick up after work and have sat in the drive through 5 to 10 mins and no one ever came to the window. I could see staff in the pharmacy walking back and forth and they didn't acknowledge me. I could clearly see the front desk and there was not even a line of people. I drove around and parked and went in the store. There was only 1 customer in the pharmacy that was seated waiting for a RX to be filled. I asked the lady running the register if the drive through was closed and she was very rude saying she was no, it was not but she was short staffed and had a very long line - and there was only 1 person waiting for their RX - there was no line?? I told her that maybe they needed to put a sign at the drive through if they were not going to service it because I had wasted 15 mins of my time by this time...she didn't even apologize nor reply. I have moved my prescriptions to another local pharmacy with EXCELLENT customer service! This drive through issue has happened...
