In an industry typically known for shady, dark hearted, and greedy people preying upon the desperation of those most unfortunate among us during their weakest hour, TOM'S PAWN / Tom's Employees (One and the same) towers above the turbulence of filth like a lighthouse offering guidance to all other pawn shops, an example of what they should strive to be, a model of the business ethics they should try to exercise. Perhaps other pawn shops could learn about compassion, fairness and integrity. Tom's is the only pawn shop I do business with. I enjoy my trips into the stores. They recently opened a sporting good store right beside their Clute store. The firearm selection is remarkable, and most archery accessories are available as well. And if you need ammunition or spare magazines it's the only place to go. I have lived in this area and built metal buildings here for almost 40 years and have a lot of family in the area that have been around Brazoria County for five generations. Tom's has been one of our favorites since it's been opened. I actually bought my first guitar from Dennis in the Clute store in about 1994. Five stars across the board, if I could give more I would.
