If I could give the customer service at this facility zero stars, I would. I've played footgolf at Pinecrest on several occasions over the last few years and always found it to be a great activity. But I will not be returning after the way my group was treated today. We arrived in the parking lot shortly before the time we booked, 4:10, and not thinking anything of it spent several minutes applying sunscreen and bug spray. When we went to check in at 4:10 we approached Kate, who rudely turned to her manager and announced our group had missed our tee time before addressing us directly. She then told us she could not help us because we were late. I've always arrived at the scheduled tee time (not before) with no issue, including on days much busier than today. We were told it's the policy that ALL players must arrive 30 minutes prior to tee time. Again, if this was the policy it had never been enforced before and it took a manager several minutes to even find where this information was posted on the web site (not in the footgolf section, and this information was not conveyed in the email confirmation). Not to mention golfers arrived after us only 10 minutes prior to their tee time and were allowed to play. Rather than kindly informing us of this policy and trying to work with us, Kate seemed to discriminate against footgolfers, had no customer sevice skills, and spoke over her manager more than once. I understand that footgolf might be a nuisance to some golfers, but if this facility is going to disrepect its customers because they're not traditional golfers then why offer the service? You can't bury a policy on your website and then completely disrespect people who are trying to get a reprieve from the hardship of the past year by enjoying an outdoor activity. Kate should be fired for her complete disregard for the customers and for being petulant and disrespectful. Right off the bat it was clear she thought lesser of us and was unwilling to provide any sort of service to us. I will be discouraging any and all friends, including traditional golfers, from visiting Pinecrest...
Read moreI played Pinecrest earlier this evening and was forced to SPRINT off of the course from the #8 tee box due to lightning in the immediate area. When I say in the immediate area, I mean that we saw a bolt of lightning strike the ground no more than a mile or two away. On our run back to the clubhouse there was another strike that was even closer.
We heard rumbles of thunder in the distance for 10-15 minutes prior to these strikes but assumed that the course would alert us if dangerous weather was in close proximity (like they do at every other course in the area). The starter/manager/whoever was in charge finally blew the horn several minutes after we made it back to shelter. By this point it was pouring and several more lightning strikes had occurred nearby.
Lives are put in jeopardy if a course lets people stay out when lightning is nearby, especially if they are trusting the course to call them off in the event of approaching severe weather. It did not seem like the course had any lightning detection system for early warnings.

The first week i came in and they said that they didnt have foot golf until 3 and that they were booked. Ok cool i get it my bad for not callin in no harm no foul. So this Saturday i called and spoke to a gentleman who was nice and reserved a 230 time. I was very forward that it was FOOT GOLF. I even made the statement that the weekend before it didnt start till 3. He said no its 2 then booked me and my kids for 230. I arrived and the same lady from the week before gave me one of the rudest looks when my kids and i walked in at 220. She said he was wrong and then asked how old my daughter was and i was honest and said 4. She then proceeded to say with sass that she was to young and that we cant go on the course anyways.
