Tacos were great tasting and nice selection. Several of our tacos fell apart when you picked them up which was disappointing. This restaurant is pure chaos. There is no one to tell you what to do when you walk in. We found the kiosk where you order and there was only one of the two working. So there were several people in a congested area clueless. You place your order for food and nonalcoholic drinks. You pick up a number and enter it on the screen. It tells you on the screen that your food will be delivered and you have to pick up your drinks at the bar. There is no option to start a tab that I am aware of on the kiosk. My boyfriend didn’t see that we needed to get the drinks at the bar, so we go to our table and they bring food, but no drinks. I ask and they cop an attitude with me and tell me at the bar. So I go to the bar and order some alcoholic drinks and ask about the nonalcoholic drink and she asks for my order # and gets the soda. She makes the drinks and doesn’t ask me if I want to start a tab, but just closes me out. I ask for plates and the woman at the bar directs me to someone else who comes to the table and then rings me 2 plates even though there are three of us, so I have to ask for another plate. Then the boys are still hungry, so I have to go back to the kiosk and order food and then back to the bar to order more drinks. Please help me and everyone else understand the process and please and make it better. This was a lot of work for me and with that environment my boyfriend will not let us return. I want to like this place as I can walk there from my boyfriends place and I did enjoy the food...
Read moreA week ago my neighbor and I went to Lidl grocery shopping but we were hungry so we decided to walk in Taco Rock just to have a quick snack and a quick drink. We usually would prefer a table but since we are in a hurry so we just went to the bar because the bartender was smiling at us. From that moment he treats us like we are his only customers even though there was a full bar and he explained to us about any drink we were interested in or any food. We tried the margarita and both have some things look like crispy tacos or soft tacos which were so tasty ( thanks to our bartender Carlos’s recommendation ), everything was so good that we forgot the grocery store and just stayed to enjoy our dinner. But I did buy some food to go for my husband instead of cooking dinner😜 Then Thursday night my husband and I came back introduce & bring another neighbor, of course we went to the bar looking for Carlos, all of us have fajitas and it was outstanding. Our neighbor had the everything fajitas and we had the beef and shrimp fajitas, it was the best fajitas we all left happy. Feeling pampered with great service. You should be proud to have a great bartender like Carlos, so attentive and with great knowledge of the menu. You could see he takes pride in working there and loves his customers, so if we have a bad day we could go to Taco Rocks to take the edge...
Read moreSub par overpriced Spanish themed food. I cant even call it Mexican because I feel it would be an insult. I was so disappointed. 2nd time eating from here. First was their grand opening and it hasn't gotten any better. The flavors are bland and have a forefront of salt. Their flautas are $7 for 3 scantly stuffed rolled tacos that have almost no flavor. The cheese sauce is the ONLY THING that is halfway decent about these and its only a drizzle. For $7, there should be 4 for the size of them . The portion of the salmon taco for $4.50 was laughable. The salmon was the size of a fish stick and had more beans and queso fresco than anything, bland, over salted and fishy. The AL Pastor was shameful. bland and salty. Fatty slices of ill seasoned pork and only 2 tiny pieces of pineapple sitting in runny, again, OVER SALTY juices that didn't do it any justice. The salsa was even bland AND YOU HAVE TO PAY $1.50 EXTRA FOR ANY SALSA AT ALL. $3 for a cup size container of rice and $3 for the same size of beans. The rice and beans were the only thing palatable honestly. I was debating even posting this at all, but the food was so bad, I feel like I'm doing you a favor by letting you know the honest truth. Maybe the other reviewers had one too many margaritas before tasting anything. i really hope you do...
