I attended their paint night on Saturday 6/29 at 7pm. I will not be returning nor will I recommend this place to anyone (that I like). It was difficult to see what the instructor was doing and couldn't hear her most of the time. Seriously, invest in a microphone! Me and my friends were sitting toward the back of the room and it was like three instructor was teaching the people closest to her, and when we said we couldn't see or hear what was going on, she was rude and basically told us to come up and take a picture and to not get frustrated. Very unprofessional. Not "step by step" instruction as the website advertises. The brushes were terrible; the water ended up with a lot of paint in it and the assistant (James) was rude and made it difficult to even change out our water or get more paint. He got mad if we went to get more paint. Apparently we were expected to wait while he begrudgingly did it for us, one by one. There were about 20 people in the room with one instructor and one assistant. I felt like I was a child- can't get my own paint? At one point James said he "couldn't hear" us asking for more paint because we didn't call for him by name.
Both the instructor and James were not friendly mor helpful. I would honestly recommend just having your own paint night at home and trying to paint a picture from google- it would be less frustrating than going to this establishment. My cheap brushes from Walmart work better than theirs and at home I could change out my water and get more paint as needed without getting yelled at. Definitely not...
Read moreAs a rebuttal to Kim Gallo's review, I was there the same night. The group she was with were very rude, including herself. They were talking so loudly it was hard for anyone to hear. They were talking to James as if he was their peon and were complaining from the get-go about how bad this place is. Even the people next to me were making comments about the group being so loud. I was sitting further back than they were and could hear just fine and see just fine. My experience that night was a 180. The instructor encouraged us to go to the front to look at the example. She went step by step. I did not have a problem with James getting me a little more paint or getting new water. The brushes are a bit worn, but they do the job. I thought the instructor and James were very professional for how rudely they were being treated. I will continue coming and am glad to see that group of ladies will...
Read moreI have gone to 2 paint nights. The first time was great and would recommend this place to anyone and the reason why I came back a second time with my younger child. The second time was horrible to say the least. We ended up leaving 45 min into the class because the instructor was horrible at helping a first time painter to the point she was in tears. Instructor knew it was their first time because they did ask if it was anyones first time. Instructor was late, rushed through their vague instruction and was more focused on creating their own painting than actually teaching a class as everyone looked just as confused since she was moving so fast and the loud music made it difficult to hear what little...
