I purchased two AMD FX-6300 retail boxed Black Edition CPU’s through ViprTech's on 10-14-2021 upon receiving I noticed that the items I received were not what was represented on their website I had ordered two AMD FX-6300 retail boxed Black Edition CPU’s as represented on their website however what I received was two used cpu’s packaged in plastic. I contacted Viprtech via email along with a screen shot from their website showing the item that was represented at the time of purchase which were AMD FX-6300 retail boxed Black edition CPU's I ask to return the items for replacement of the items I ordered or for a refund I was told they will not accept returns and could not provide me with the AMD Retail Boxed CPU’s as represented on their website but would provide cpu coolers which I never received. No where on their website or in the item description did it state these CPU were used or it was CPU only and not the AMD Retail Boxed CPU’s as shown in the photos on the website. when I brought this to their attention they went in and changed the description and photo of this item. This outfit is shady and as some of the other reviews has referred to them as scammers! If your considering a purchase from Viprtech.com I would be very weary before purchasing anything from Viprtech read the poorly written fine print concerning warranty and return info on their website.

So this is my first "Gaming PC" I've ever owned. I'm not confident enough to build my own just yet but wanted an upgrade over my Ancient All-in-one I've been using. Placing the order was easy enough, and the price too me wasnt awful considering the market, and shipping was only afew days. First off after getting the PC i noticed the case was different, not a huge deal to me (i plan on adding more cooling anyway), and the Graphics card has what I'm assuming is a HDMI mini and DVI port. I was alittle disheartened and assumed I'd been fleeced seeing as all I had was HDMI. I also noticed my windows key wasnt found so I couldn't activate windows after booting it up. So I typed out an email and prepared for the worse since it was after hours... Not 5 minutes later i get a email back from Alex with a new Windows Key and they explained to me what had happened with the case and Graphics card. They were very patient and understanding of my concerns. After explaining to me what happened it made sense and I thanked Alex for getting back to me so quickly. In conclusion I'm very excited to get to work and know that if I have issues i can reach out to them in confidence

WARNING! DO NOT BUY! I purchased a prime Intel windows 10 pro I 5–3570 gaming PC for my son for Christmas. I purchased it a little over a month in advance and since it was a Christmas present it wasn’t opened until Christmas day. That evening when we went to set it up the computer would not come on. I immediately reached out to the company and did not get a response until four days later when I had to reach out to Walmart which is where I bought the product from. The company refused to reimburse me because it was past their 30 day window. We went back-and-forth with emails of them trying to give me pointers on how I could get it to work and nothing helped. I ended up taking it to a local computer shop and found out none of the parts were new I was given a motherboard that was 11 years old and all the other products within the computer were outdated, used, and non-functioning. I paid $780 for a computer that I had to pay to completely rebuild. This company is a scam!

This gaming PC was a Christmas gift for me and I had holly jolly Christmas spirit until I realized that a $900 gift serves the equivalent purpose as a box. I could’ve bought a cardboard box spray painted white for 50¢ and it would serve the same purpose as this PC. It crashes every 5 minutes. The frames run worse then mobile phone games. There’s a battle royale game I like to play called Fortnite and it runs better on my Nintendo Switch that I got when Nintendo Switches were released. The power unit seems to have a loose area and the plug tends to unplug itself all the time from the slightest shake. Also, what’s the point of a gaming PC to send it with only 100 GB of storage?? That’s only the amount of storage to just download the games. I bought a portable USB hard drive and I don’t know if all the plug in ports have a loose problem but the hard drive unplugs all the time and i’ll make a lot of progress into doing something and then boom, all my hard work is gone because there isn’t enough storage without the hard drive in. It’s hardly functional and this is so upsetting. My mom tried to light up my Christmas just a tad bit because I’ve been so angry and stressed from losing so many people I loved in such a vast time. This PC just causes more stress and makes me feel like i’m not meant to have anything good for me. It makes me feel like all of my odds will forever be bad. My mom struggles with money too and I bet this company will run my mother up the walls (from the reviews i’ve read) and give us little to no help. This has to be some form of theft I know my mother didn’t put out $900 for some gnarly junk like this. There is no absolute way. Each day I grow more disgusted by it. I haven’t told my mother yet because I don’t want her to stress because she already has enough of that so I just feel stuck...

Overall - 4 Stars. Customer Service - 5 stars Recently got the computer as a gift. It arrived in a timely fashion and was all plug and play. Worked well for about a month before I heard clicking sounds coming from the computer. Was able to troubleshoot that the GPU fans were failing / not working. I was frustrated that it happened, but having some knowledge of the field, its pretty typical for parts to be faulty or fail. I contacted Viprtech via phone and left a message assuming it would be a day or two before a call back would happen; they called back the same day and got a ticket started. They stated that they would communicate via email after the call and I was able to track all communications via email and their ticket system. They did require some information (order number / photos and videos of the issue occurring) which was sent. They got back informing me of their normal protocol on shipping the computer back to them for testing and warrantee work; but also offered the option of just sending the faulty part back and they would send a new card (just had to pay the shipping of the old part 18$). Shipping of old and new card took about a week, during which communication still occurred with Viprtech (shipping and follow-up questions). New part arrived, installed and working fine. Obviously keeping an eye on it in case of a repeat issue. However, customer communication was excellent, questions were answered in as little as 15 minutes to a couple hours (keep in mind not operating on weekends) and in the end they resolved the problem. I want to thank Colin K in customer service for the help, communication and issue...

Please note, I give a five star rating automatically as long as all is good (or compensated when it isn't.) Computer came - damaged HDMI port (now four stars.) It was packaged extremely well, so it's extremely unlikely that it was damaged en route. After a few back and forths, it was their solution for me to pull out the damaged video card and mail it to them so that they could 'test it.' In the mean time I would be out of work for at least a week and a half. They understood my dilemma and didn't offer to send a replacement while they did their testing (they should have tested it before they sent it to me) - three stars. Once I began using it, I noticed that the wifi kept shutting off randomly about every 5-20 minutes. The fix was to unplug and replug the wifi they sent. I contacted them and would get one sentence responses (mind you, I did all the research before I contact them...I mean, a lot of times one can fix the problem themselves if they try first.) There wasn't much help there - nor really an offer to help. The tone was that 'it wasn't their problem'. I own a business and I know that in dealing with customers you should at least FAKE concern. Nope. Not here (two stars.) I'm not contacting them anymore - will just deal with it and replace parts on my own going forward. Some companies just aren't worth it when there are others...
