I used to love AFAP for my two boys. I always highly recommended this school to everyone. Unfortunately, maybe about 6 months ago, I started seeing/feeling a shift at the school. Where I used to have great, fun, smiling, laughing conversation with the staff, that slowly stopped. I started seeing favoritism to some kids and not to some and high teacher turn over. My boys started crying about having to go to this school, then staff started talking negatively to my children to their faces when I dropped them off and picked up (so how are they treated when I'm not present), then sending home reports about my child that are not true and complaining about my 3 year old for not having the skills yet to self regulate his emotions. When I tried talking to staff about one incident she only became rude and yelled at me, so I def wasn't going to discuss anything else further with her since there was a lack of professionalism or care to discuss anything positive for the best interest of my son. I then noticed the few staff who were still friendly to me where now not even looking at me. That tells me the staff member I tried having a conversation with went and talked badly about me to her staff right after. She then said it was best if my kids left and wanted them gone that day. The only thing I can think of for this change in the school is the population jump this last year, causing way too many children attending this school without the proper amount of staff on hand to handle the number of children, or the school now has a waiting list so they no longer give that extra care and love to the kids bc they're easily replaceable. Either way we're very upset with the way things went. We used to love...

The staff all have personal relationships with each child. Both my kids are a little shy, but they made so many friends and felt totally comfortable here. They have always been excited to go to school, and hate to leave in the afternoon. We always hear at pick up âyou came too early!â đ
We love the cozy, warm feel of this school. Itâs small, intimate, and homey. My daughter graduated last year. She was more than prepared for Kindergarten, and has done great. Our son will graduate this May. We will miss this school so much. The teachers have always kept us informed, sent tons of updates and pictures, and been flexible when we have had things come up. Canât recommend them enough. So so happy we...
