Obviously it is the lot for the North American animals and their exhibits.

The lot is large, is number/letter sectioned, lighted well, and close to the North America entrance. Parking for RVs, buses, and of course cars. An education center is off the lot as well as picnic areas and a bathroom.

There is a bus that runs to and from the Africa lot and that is very convenient. Usually...

I'm unsure why Google is prompting for a review of a parking lot but; yeah, it's quite spacious and seems to be paved well. There are no bumps or potholes and the paint lines are crisp.

Even with covid restrictions, it's so easy to spend the whole day at the NC Zoo! There is a good mix of shade and indoor areas to make even hot summer...
