DEBBIE!!! OMG! 😀 I did a zoo tour across the states a couple of years ago and had forgotten that I HAD already been to this zoo. That is until I called regarding parking and spoke with very very helpful and kind Debbie. I swore, “could this be the same lady?” I’M SURE OF IT!
When I visited the first time, I came all the way from Tampa (on a budget, with a camper trailer) and had forgotten my AZA zoo pass. Debbie was incredibly kind in offering me her family pass so I could get in. She was a lifesaver! I NEED animal enrichment for my PTS and destress from rugged travel.
So when I called about trailer parking she very helpful turn-by-turn information. I wish I had recalled the visit before our call ended.

North America side. This area has multiple viewing areas at different levels, inside and outside viewing options, over and under water viewing options, complete with sea birds, polar bears, arctic foxes, seals, and a porcupine.
The puffins are very active and watching them zoom around on top of the water and even their diving ability is a great watch. The polar bear is massive yet beautiful. Signage detailing all of the aforementioned creatures.
