The search for a solar company was stressful... that is, until we met with Rhino. Ed Wright was the perfect level of responsiveness - he wasn't too pushy, too needy, or too busy for us, like some of the other companies. He was extremely knowledgeable during the presentation and found answers to questions if he didn't have them off the top of his head. After meeting with several solar companies, you can tell pretty quickly who is reading from a script and who has really looked over your project and the proposed approach. Not only was he professional, adaptable to our unique home conditions, and clear about unknowns (like tariffs or incentives), he was also just a genuinely likable person. We primarily wanted quality work, but it was also important to us to support a company with an honest leadership team that valued its employees and the community.

After signing the agreement, we were equally happy with Rhino. They were able to get us in sooner than anticipated. They showed up on time every day and even completed the work a day ahead of schedule. Everyone at our home was polite and respectful. Steve was wonderful and answered some electrical questions. Extra kudos to Ryan and his crew for somehow making our roof look prettier with solar panels than without - I love solar but I don't usually like the aesthetic look, but these guys made our roof look so nice!

The whole team was speedy and efficient with the permitting/inspection process, the Duke registrations, and getting everything hooked up and running. Matt was very thorough explaining the system and getting us all set up on monitoring production and use. It's been wild seeing how much it's already saving us.

I have no doubts that Rhino will be just as helpful and responsive if we ever run into an issue in the years ahead. They are a group of people that will be there for you even after you sign/pay. So if you want to hire great folks who do great work, I'm confident Rhino is the right choice for you!!

I could not possibly be more completely satisfied with all of the work that Rhino Renewables has done with the new solar panels on my roof. I had been considering having them installed for several years now, but kept running into a variety of questions and issues. Rhino addressed and solved each and every one of them—rapidly. I received a very careful and thorough investigation of my house, attic, and roof, and was given precise information about exactly what I needed and how much it would cost, as well as how long it would take to discharge my debt through a decrease in my electricity bill. Installing all of my nearly two dozen panels took only two days. I began receiving energy from them after just two weeks. Other suppliers had indicted it would take as much as two or three months for all of the inspections and approvals to be complete. Since the panels were turned on and began producing electricity for me, I have not had a single problem with them, although Rhino has been in touch with me frequently to see if there were any other questions they might help me out with. They also provided an internet link that allows me to track panel activity in virtually any way I might wish. I have nothing but praise for the job Rhino Renewables has done for me. We had Silfab solar panels and an Enphase battery system installed by Rhino Renewables in May and have been very pleased. While we experienced a few hiccups during installation, the system was up and running within a few weeks, and we’ve had no issues since.

What really stood out was the excellent customer service and communication. Ed, one of the owners, met with us in person after our initial inquiry and explained everything in detail, offering multiple options to meet our needs. Danny, the project manager, went above and beyond to keep us informed at every step and also handled all the paperwork for Duke’s PowerPair rebate. During our hiccups, Chad, the service manager, and Jacob, a co-owner, were quick to respond and very understanding of our eagerness to get everything commissioned properly. Every member of the crew we interacted with had years of solar experience and seemed genuinely excited about both their work and its impact.

We interviewed three companies (all highly recommended), but ultimately chose Rhino for their in-person assessment, quick response time, high-quality equipment, clear explanations (I came in with zero knowledge), and their management of the Duke rebate applications. That level of support made the process so much easier.
