I found this place on accident by looking at what could be delivered to my house. The menu looked so good that we decided to go in person. We are super glad we did. The restaurant itself has a super chill vibe to it and you instantly feel welcomed. We had great service and the food was better than expected. Arancini Fritti, app, super crunchy and delicious. Make sure you get the spicy marinara! The Sicilian, 10in pizza, the crust was great and crispy. But it also had a super great chew to it. The topping were great. No complaints here. Corn and Spinach Ravioli, entree, y'all... I about stole this from my partner, thank goodness he let me have a bite. The sauce is a creamy tomato Alfredo and it's hella dope. I wanna chug it. The ravioli themselves we're good and had super delicious chunks of garlic. I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

We tried to like this place, but the pasta bowls are way overpriced for what they actually give you. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms was $13. I literally counted out my pieces of chicken and sliced mushrooms from the 1/2 cup worth of sauce that came with my 1lb serving of fettuccine noodles and it literally equalled 1/4 of a thin chicken breast, and, when stacked, the sliced mushrooms equaled 2 whole mushrooms at best. Stick with the sandwiches although they’re light on the tiny fries too. Maybe the portion is bigger in the restaurant, we ordered takeout and felt like they cheated us because who would know until they get home to eat it. I swear you have to check every little thing with restaurants now days. This is a photo of what amount of sauce chicken and mushrooms you get vs the huge amount of plain fettuccine.

Italian restaurant harshly. That said she really enjoyed her meal. We shared the fried calamari and it was very good and you get a very good portion for the money. My wife and our son shared the Margarita Pizza and they both loved it. I ordered the Meatball sub with a side caesar salad and I was also very happy with my meal. The sub was huge and you could really taste the actual meatball itself. Our son has a serious sweet tooth so he had his first cannoli our his life and now it’s a new favorite of his. Also this placed earned points for what I assume to be the owner of this restaurant, he is an fluent speaking Italian from Sardegna and my wife and him had a brief conversation in Italian which is rare to find in the south. If we lived here it’d be a routine stop.

Last Friday my wife, daughter and I had another outstanding dinner at Piazza and I felt I should finally write them a review. It is hands down our favorite pizza place in Asheville but we all decided to try something different this time. We started with the Fired Calamari which were crispy, tender and paired nicely with their slightly spicy marinara sauce. I got the Grilled Chicken Caeser which was huge and delicious. The chicken was juicy, and the dressing was exactly how you want a Caeser dressing to taste. My wife ordered the Caprese sandwich with pesto, arugula, mozzarella and tomatoes on a slightly toasted roll. The roasted broccoli as her side was out of this world. She liked it so much that she ordered it again for lunch earlier this week. My daughter got the kids Bolognese (which looked like an adult portion) and said it was better than our Grandma's Spaghetti. Our server was a professional and was there every time we needed him.

It is very rare this day and age to have something be around for so long and get better every time you go to it. Piazza is a perfect...

Service: was phenomenal. Can’t exaggerate how accommodating the host and server were. Caesar salad: a hunk of oily romaine. I don’t know if it actually tasted like Caesar salad. Chicken Parmigiana: it tasted like clams. I’m not sure what the source of this was. At first I thought it was just me but then I isolated the pasta from the chicken and realized it was the pasta that was the source of the fishy taste. Concerning if anyone has a shellfish allergy. Pizza (Hawaiian 5.0) : big, soggy mess. It was essentially a plot of dough melted with mozzarella and raw red onion piled with pineapple (which usually we like but not to this extent). Needed to have stayed in the oven for much longer. Beside the meal, the actual dishes were of concern. Straight away, our water glasses still had the stain of a previous patron (one whom clearly had red lipstick on). Once our plates came for sharing the Caesar salad, we noticed stains of leftover marina from someone’s previous meal and I just couldn’t bring myself...

My wife and I ate at Piazza today and were overwhelmed at how delicious the food was, and how tranquil we found the atmosphere. I have Celiacs disease, and as a result haven't had delicious pasta and pizza in years. My Shrimp Scampi pasta was not only unbelievably delicious, but the pasta was as good as whole-wheat. My wife was almost in tears over how good her meatball marinara was. Combined with the Italian Chili Cheese Fries, our meal was perfect. The restaurant was rustic, quiet and clean, and the service was perfect. We will be going back this weekend, hopefully with enough room in our stomachs to try the deserts. I should also mention that we ordered two pizzas to take home for dinner, and even after they had gone cold, they were superb. I can only imagine how good they will be fresh. Thank you so much for your gluten-free options, I had forgotten how much I...
