Great Wall Restaurant — Restaurant in North Carolina

I really wanted to like this place because it's close and the portions and prices are great.

It was easy and quick to call and place a take out order and when picking up you pay at a window, there is no dining room. I liked how easy it was to grab and go. Everything was super hot and fresh cooked, but unfortunately the quality and taste of the food was awful.

I am super picky when it comes to food quality, so others may not feel the same as me if they are used to eating low quality food.

We ordered a large meal. The general tso chicken was INEDIBLE. Every piece I had to spit it out after chewing on it because it was so gristly. Just gonna throw it in the trash. Nasty. So sad.

The egg fu yung was large but soggy and soft. Maybe I can pop then in the oven and they will be better.

The veggie fried rice was sorta dry.

The veggie lo mein was over sauced, and had barely any veggies in it, just a few pieces of broccoli and onion. So so sad.

OUR FIRST AND LAST EXPERIENCE WITH GREAT WALL: After enduring a household full of strep throat, we decided to get some wonton soup and white rice. The woman who answered said it would be 15 minutes, but our friend who picked up the soup and rice for us was unfamiliar with the area and wound up running late. I received a phone call from the same woman chastising me over the fact that it had been 30 minutes - if we get cold soup, it's our issue anyways, not theirs.

Once our friend got there and explained he had gotten lost, the woman didn't even respond and then charged him $27 for four wonton soups and four white rices. I don't know what the heck is wrong with these people, but their customer service was seriously lacking as was their food - way too salty. We will never eat...

We ordered the teriyaki and it was the worst teriyaki chicken I've ever had and I've had a few from different places that know how to make it obviously it was watered down, you get only get one side rice or mushrooms.
