I would unequivocally give this school a zero-star rating. It is, without a doubt, a poor educational institution. This establishment operates more like a business than a college, fabricating information to convince students that they are the only ones capable of meeting their educational needs. For instance, they falsely claim to be the sole provider of a particular program, implying that other schools are difficult to enter. Unfortunately, I was one of many students who believed this school offered a viable opportunity to advance my education and career prospects. However, they demonstrably failed in their teaching, and they neglected to disclose that the program was designed to be completed rapidly. Furthermore, this institution is a private school, a fact they do not readily advertise. They aggressively push students to complete registration and prerequisites, effectively initiating a process that leads to academic failure. In summary, this school's primary objective is financial gain; it continues to enroll students for their tuition, accumulating substantial debt for them. I offer this as a cautionary warning, and strongly advise against attending this school. There are other institutions that offer similar programs and educational opportunities; this should not be your last resort, nor should it be considered at all. I strongly advise against attending...
Read moreI was once an excelling student at this school, living off of a part time job to support myself and my family. I struggled everyday for over a year. This school failed to notify me of great opportunities such as the DMS program. I was put through unnecessary stress. When I was in the program, I went through a health issue that would require surgery. I then had covid on top of my suffering. The school failed to help accommodate my needs, in fact they made me take my finals early. I was booted out of the program and put in more debt than ever. During my exit interview, I was told that the school would contact me, which they failed to do so. Then I as well as many others were hit by a hurricane that took the lives of hundreds of people. I received an email stating that I was no longer a student at South College Asheville. I contacted the school and told them everything, Which they stated they could have me repeat the program. They made no accommodations for me. None what so ever. In fact, they were supposed to contact me yesterday and failed to do so once again. This school neglected me time and time again. I do not recommend this school. They hurt me more than they helped me. I will continue my education elsewhere. Seriously, they are lucky to have received the 1 star from me because they wouldn't have received it if I...
Read moreI'm new to south college, but I already luv it! There is a lot more one on one time with your professors. All of The advisors have been so helpful. The size of the school and the small class sizes are perfect for people who r there to learn. the professors are strict about what is allowed in the class room ( water, snacks) but it is all about professionalism. Your not gonna be allowed to have your water bottles with you when your making rounds at the doctors office or wherever your gonna work after school so you might as well get used to it now, right? And as far as money is concerned, you pay for what you get. The accreditations that this school has, far out weigh what other schools have in the area. And they accept Fed. Fin. Aid as well as other types. They even help you fill out all the forms and no payments till 6 Mon. After you graduate. I attended " other " schools and hated the giant class sizes and the teachers seemed too busy to help you. And I was treated like a number and an ATM. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants down to earth teachers, and small class sizes and a...
