Extremely poor customer service and communication. I dropped off some furniture and they were quickly sold, but it was like pulling teeth to get any info. Then the “check was lost” in the mail and they refused to rewrite it. 9 months later and I still don’t have anything to show for them selling my items.

Edit for response to "the owner": Yes I opted not to pay over 1/2 of what I got for 2 really nice chairs. They said they could reissue the check, but they wouldn't because they thought I was being dishonest and might cash both checks. I messaged them multiple times promising them I did not and received ZERO response.

Correct: 6 months from the day I had an email scheduled to go out asking for a check number and the day they would be sending. Again ZERO response.

I finally did receive the silently written check, probably after they saw this review!

So, yea: terrible communication and customer service. If only they put the same care into their business as responding to reviews.

My husband, sister and I are frequent shoppers here. No where in Asheville will you find more honest and helpful people. They are customer centric and our home has been blessed by more than a few things purchased here over the years. Just wanted to make a shout out for those that don't know about this great place to find furniture from sofas to chairs and dining and side tables and bed room suites, carpets, tables, linens, lamps, accessories of all kinds, no matter your taste in a clean and extremely pleasant environment. As an aside, if you have a piece of furniture (don't we all?) that we saw the promise in and couldn't leave behind but never fixed up, there is help for you here! The website is extremely deceiving, clearly trying to target a certain audience. Upon making the trek to their location, you are greeted by mostly big, heavy, outdated furniture, not in alignment with how they present themselves publicly. As as vintage store owner, I know that inventory is always changing, but this is day and night from their website. Ironically, no one was there to greet us, which made the experience to the dark, quiet showroom...
