SWEETEN CREEK COFFEE — Restaurant in Asheville

This coffee shop is AMAZING:

The place is very clean, comfy and stylish. The atmosphere and design is incredible. Loved the the chalkboard wall, Christmas decorations, and paintings on the wall.

The coffee was fabulous. They offer different kinds of milk such as coconut milk, almond milk, and oat milk. I like strong coffee so I ordered a large cafe latte with 4 shots, and it was the best latte I’ve ever had. My fiancé had the signature mocha latte with coconut milk. It perfectly blended the flavors of chocolate and coffee and was not too sweet like the mocha latte we had in other places.

The food was fresh and delicious. Our favorite was the “monster” bagel sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese. Highly recommended. The chicken salad and pulled pork lunch sandwiches were also great. The prices were affordable too. The lunch sandwiches were BIG and one sandwich can feed two people. I also loved the take out packages. The warm sandwiches were wrapped in foil and put in pretty paper bags. The package kept the food warm and my hands clean - great experience.

Get ready folks, because these guys are going to take South Asheville by storm!

Super excited to finally be able to try Sweeten Creek Coffee this afternoon. Parked in their lot (there are two small parking lots) and walked into their main dining area. They also have a walk-up window behind the building which is nice for those just looking to grab and go. The inside of the coffee shop was warm and inviting, well lit, and set up for current COVID standards (6 feet apart lines, small and plentiful tables, employees were wearing masks and face shields, etc.). There’s even a hand sanitizer dispenser right next to the door so you can immediately sanitize after you’ve opened the door!

Super sweet staff, very accommodating and friendly, and had exactly what I was looking for - an iced decaf latte with oat milk. They’ve got some muffins and bagels and other little snacks from local businesses - Joey’s Bagels, Buchi Kombucha on tap, etc. And of course, fast wifi.

It’s always a little weird to try a new coffee shop, but this one felt good! I’ll be back to set up camp and work for an afternoon. Looking forward to seeing others discover this new business...

WOWZA.

Not only is the coffee absolutely OUTSTANDING... but the staff makes you feel right at home, treating you just like family. My best friend and I just happened upon this coffee shop running errands yesterday, and needless to say... we are back again today, and most likely will be begging for more caffeine, sprinkled with joy and Christmas cheer, for the rest of the season, and for years to come!

They are taking all the proper precautions for socially distancing customers, even offering free masks, and hand sanitizer — and of course Christmas mints! LOTS of them haha

The bathrooms and lobby are both extremely clean and well maintained— and the fire on the tv and the seasonal jams are a festive, cozy touch!

We can’t thank Sweeten Creek Coffee enough for spreading joy and delicious treats — especially during this time of year when it’s so desperately needed.

P.S. Get the Gumbo. It’s WORTH it! ( The Lavender Latte and Peppermint White Mocha are also HIGHLY recommended)
