I’ve been shopping at this delightful store for years and am happy to see them continue to prosper. It’s pretty amazing that for as long as I have been stopping by, the owners are always there - I don’t think I’ve ever seen any other employees! Maybe they’re workaholics and they just truly love what they do… no matter the reason, their passion in finding unique and fun items and their dedication and commitment to the shop is obvious. The displays are well thought out and organized. A small example of what they offer - an amazing greeting card collection (get out of here, Hallmark!), a section for the really little ones, books, mugs, hand towels, jewelry, stationary, fun decor, pins, ETC.! They even have a section for “tiny” things!
Read moreFrom the moment you walk into Whist, you are immersed in all kinds of magic. I immediately went “OH MY GOSH!” to my husband and ran over to the tons and tons of beautiful greeting cards. That was before I ran over to the candles, and lotions, and crafting kits, and books, and planners, and ahhhh!!!

If you just want to smile and enjoy some great music with a happy vibe all around you for a bit, go here. The service was lovely, the space is rad, and it’s just a lift for your spirits. Plus I got some amazing surprises for friends that I wouldn’t have found anywhere else. Win!!!
It’s been a long time since I’ve found a place like this one, and my heart is so happy it’s here in Asheville and that I finally got around to visiting!

Read moreTerrible experience! I tried to buy a mask and the man who was ringing me up told me it wouldn't fit properly. He proceeded to explain why and pointed to his associate and said "it fits her" (who is obviously skinny ) and made me feel completely awkward. I had to even say " I know I have a round face", but I like the mask. Way to make a customer feel isolated and discriminated against ....
