10/10 would recommend. I’ve been so excited to see this store in person, and finally took the trip today. I completely forgot to take any photos in store but it is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail and placement of model products is gorgeous. It’s on a cutesy little street, not hard to find at all, which was my biggest worry being a bit directionally challenged. But do yourself a favor, read the parking locations beforehand. I did not and had to look it up — because parking behind the building is private, which of course was where it looked like Google Maps was directing me to. Will definitely be going back if I can find someone to split the drive with (6+ hours driving was worth it… but definitely don’t wanna do that to myself because I’m TIRED). Florence is an absolute doll — immediately helpful the moment I walked in the door and is not only knowledgeable about the products but also the history and such (I mean, it is a museum too so duh). Didn’t get to meet Kim and thank her for designing literally the only thing that makes my period not the worst thing ever, but maybe next time lol. 10/10 would recommend for menstruating people and non alike — even those who don’t bleed could definitely learn a thing or two at minimum. And I mean. Is a giant light up uterus on the entry wall not convincing enough? All the hands that made this place a reality truly created a...
Read moreIf you live in or are visiting Asheville, NC and have a period or know someone who has or will have a period, this is a must-shop-stop. Kim and her staff are exceptional at what they do and are a wealth of information. The period museum Kim has curated so carefully is really a sight to behold for both the young and old (I promise I’m not trying to rhyme or be cutesy, it’s just true.)
I’m an avid Hello. disc user and Kim’s co-design insights and expertise put me firmly in that camp. If you’re looking for the perfect period products, this store has you covered — cups, discs, washes, reusable pads, period panties and swimwear, postpartum supplies, books and resources…it’s really a wonderland. If everyone who could visited and supported their business, these ladies could have stores like this in more and more cities and make these products and knowledge all the more accessible, and periods easier for everyone. Pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed! Don’t forget to snap a photo...
Read moreVibes and resources are unmatched!! I literally planned a trip across the country because I knew I had to experience this shop in person, and it did not disappoint! Where else could I experience such a beautifully curated space that educates and celebrates all things menstrual health? I wish this was more common - especially since I am still thinking about how incredible all the people and the energy of this space was - months later. Great range of highly curated products and super cute/fun options. I got both of my nieces set up with first period kits :)
And if you geek out over the 100+ year history of period products and marketing, this might be the only place IN THE WORLD, where you can learn and geek out about how far we've come (as well as wonder how some companies ever thought their products were a good idea - yikes! lol).
If you can't make it in person, you can also support Kim and this shop by ordering online :)
15/10 recommend. We've GOT to support...
